"Where are you two going?" Devin asked when he saw Wednesday and Enid heading towards the entrance door. He scrambled up from the living room couch to stand by them, bouncing on the balls of his feet. Chris and Bart had been sat by him, lightly ribbing each other over their respective loses to Wednesday.

"Out," Wednesday said, brushing past him to go to the door.

"I'm coming with," Devin smiled.

"No, you are not. We're going on a date!" Enid stressed. She would not have a date that was maybe a date, be intruded upon by her brother.

"It's not up for debate," Abraham said, from where he was leaning against the wall. "Mom said you're not to leave the house unsupervised with Wednesday. I'm coming with you."

"So am I," Bart said reluctantly, still death glaring Wednesday for daring to threaten his precious instruments.

"I still owe you a fight," Chris said, looking excited at that prospect.

Enid made an x with her hands, extremely flustered. "None of you are coming with us!"

"Then you can't leave this house," Abraham said. "Alpha rules."

"It's alright, Enid," Wednesday said. "They can come along. We can't be blamed if they become uncomfortable around us on our date." She had a mischievous look in her eyes that Enid knew would only spell trouble.

And Enid was going to be right in the middle of it.

They piled into Wednesday's spacious car, Enid taking her seat by Wednesday while Abraham sat on her other side. Devin, Chris and Bartholomew sat across from them.

"What are you doing?" Wednesday said.

"Me?" Enid asked, confused.

"That isn't your seat."

Enid looked around puzzled. There were assigned seats?

"This is," and Wednesday pointed to her lap. Enid swore all the blood rushed up to her cheeks so quickly she went light headed. Sitting on Wednesday's lap? The entirety of the trip? Oh, she wasn't going to make it.

"Come now, Enid, don't stall, we have to go," Wednesday said and Enid mutely nodded her head, barely able to hear over the sound of blood rushing through her ears.

Enid settled down on Wednesday's lap, Wednesday's arms coming to securely hold her around the waist. Her head rested against Enid's shoulder. She could feel the steady beat of Wednesday's heart against her back. And she could feel her shape, surprisingly soft for someone with so many sharp edges.

Devin stuck out his tongue at this. "I'm not watching." And he pulled out a phone and began watching videos. Chris scowled and Abraham growled in his throat lowly.

"Enid, get off her lap," Abraham ordered.

"Why?" Wednesday interjected. "Would you like a turn?"

His face turned red while Chris and Bart snickered. "I would never in a million years dream of touching you, Addams."

"The feeling is mutual," Wednesday said. "Enid is just the loveliest when I touch her-"

"Shut up!" he snarled while Devin discreetly slipped on his earphones. Chris laughed at Abraham's discomfort while Bartholomew winced. He really wished their mom hadn't had them come along. Seeing his sister being all gushy was torture.

Enid could feel her face turn red. She adored Wednesday's attention but it was killing her at the same time. "Thing, step on the gas please," she called out to him where he sat behind the wheel. He flipped her a quick thumbs up.
