•Psychopathy is a spectrum directly linked to being a Psychopath, as you might have guessed. However, this spectrum has also fallen under Antisocial Personality Disorder which is also to blame for the world's Sociopaths.
•Psychopathy is simply an exaggerated version of Sociopathy. While it is a serious condition, it is not an official diagnosis, rather just the surface of one. Psychopathy is a spectrum. The levels of Psychopathy can be measured by the Hare Psychopathy Checklist which will determine your official diagnosis.
•Psychopathy is a blatant lack of empathy or a conscience, causing psychopaths to be some of the most calculated yet dangerous people in the world.
SYMPTOMS:
Symptoms of Psychopathy include deficient emotional responses, lack of empathy, poor behavioral controls, persistent antisocial behavior, criminal activity, etc.
TREATMENT:
Treatment of Psychopathy consists of different types of therapies and medications. Healing from a serious disorder like this one takes time and can be really rough on the person doing it. If left untreated, it can lead to trouble holding jobs/relationships, health problems (usually related to substance abuse), impulsive/risky behavior, and an unstable or fragile self-image.
