It all goes downhill from here (unless I'm lying) (I'm not lying)

August hadn't gone to the Met Gala, even after being invited, because what does 'camp' even mean? But she was looking forward to seeing everyone's outfits.

Like Karlie Kloss', who was apparently 'looking camp right in the eye'. August personally thought that that tweet in itself was more camp than the world could handle.

She had rekindled her friendship with Sadie and Caleb, but she could tell Sadie was still a little frustrated with her. Same with Conan and even Gracie. Because no matter how many apologies she threw out, she couldn't un-sleep with Bran.

Just another stupid mistake that August made that added onto the pile of shit she had to fix.

But instead of actually beginning to fix then, she did the one thing she knew how to do, throw herself into work. She had been on the set of Dickinson for about a week when her friends decided to blow up her phone. Production was only going to last about three months, which she wasn't exactly fond of. She'd much rather it go on for an extra one so by the time she was done, she'd be free of Bran.

Conan, Austin and Gracie were going crazy about something that she wasn't a part of. She wondered why they didn't just talk about it in their group chat that didn't have her in it. It was like they were trying to make her feel left out.

"You okay, kid?" Hailee asked, sitting next to August.

"I'm only four years younger than you," August murmured.

"Yeah, but you're like still a kid."

"That's a weird thing to say considering you have to make out with me multiple times, Hailee," The eighteen year old clicked her tongue, "But yeah, I'm fine. Just teenage drama, you know?"

Hailee hummed in acknowledgment and thought for a second, "Give me your phone."

"Ha. No."

"Come on, Auggie. You have to trust more freely," Hailee pouted.

August sighed and unlocked her phone, handing it over. Hailee smiled thankfully and began typing quickly. The teen left her too it, going to grab a bottle of water, sitting back down next to Hailee. She sipped on her drink as Hailee shut off her phone and gave it back.

They were called back to film their next scene and August turned off her phone.
