Millie

Forrest is wearing a white long sleeve button down shirt that is folded until his elbows, black trousers, and white shoes. He's also wearing his glasses and his silver watch on his left wrist. His hair is in its usual curly state that I love so much.

His arms were crossed against his chest and I can perfectly see his well-defined forearms while he leans to his car.

"Hi!" I greet him as I reach for his lips. His hand automatically landed on my waist.

"Hey, beautiful," he said, kissing the side of my forehead. He opened the passenger seat's door and let me in before closing the door.

Today, we are going on a date which we planned few days ago. I'm wearing a plain white crop top and a green skirt, paired with beige low block sandals.

I watch him speed walk to the driver's seat. "Okay, can we go to the mall first? I just need to buy something and then we can go to the coffee shop," I told him.

He nodded as he started the car's engine. It's only nine in the morning and by the time we arrive at the mall, it should be open by then.

When we arrived, I quickly went to the store to buy some stuff that I needed. It went smoothly since there weren't many people yet.

"Let's go," I said.

"You're quick. I was expecting you to take your time," he said, grabbing the paper bag I'm holding.

"It's just 3 things. And the store was pretty empty."

I held his free hand while walking. This feels nice. His hand feels soft and warm and I like it. I felt his fingers intertwined with mine then he pulled both of our hands to his lips to kiss the back of my hand.

He never fails to give me butterflies, make my heart flutter. Whenever we're together, he always does that whenever he has a chance. We went directly to the coffee shop to eat breakfast.

"Macchiato and croissant," I told Forrest.

"Just that?"

"Yeah. 2 croissants."

"Okay."

I watch him as he walks to the counter to get our food. I watch his back and the way he slid his hands into his pocket while waiting for the line. There are also quite a lot of people in this coffee shop. Most are students studying early, some are having breakfast as well.

I wonder if he knows that he's drawing a lot of attention to himself. Well, I can't blame the people. Forrest has a natural aura that draws people to him. He's very attractive. I wonder if he's aware or he's just used to the attention because of his fame in Formula one.

One person recognized him and asked for a photo which Forrest politely obliged. It never crossed my mind to keep my relationship with him as secret. I want to freely hold his hand in public, but at the same time, I also want privacy for both of us.

"Here's your macchiato and 2 croissant, princess," he said as soon as he got our orders. I chuckled and thanked him.

He let me drive to the park after we eat breakfast. He wouldn't want me drive today but after many pleadings and hugs and kisses, he gave in. I drive with one hand on the wheel and one hand holding his hand.

"Brake, Millie, brake!" he said while I approach a stop light. I lightly shake my head and laugh.

"I know!" I said.

There weren't too many people when we arrived at the park. We lay down a blanket under a big tree and sat there.

"Okay, what book did you bring?" I asked him.

"Throttled by Lauren Asher. Apparently, it's about formula one so I got interested. I think it's about Noah and Maya. You?"

"Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren. It's about two friends who got reunited," I said, showing him the book.

"Interesting."

"Mhm," I said, grabbing the fruits I brought from my tote bag. I popped one blueberry in my mouth and gave him some.

The weather is nice today. The sun is up and it's also a little windy. The breeze is a little cool right now but I bet it's going to get humid later. There's a small creek not far away from our place. I can see little children playing boats.

"By the way, the first race is on March in Bahrain," Forrest says.

I nodded. "I'll be there."

"Will you be there with someone else?"

"I dunno. Most likely just me. If Mason is going, then most likely Lexus too," I said, shrugging.

"I'll ask them. But here..." he said giving me a piece of paper. I furrowed my eyebrows as I get the paper from his hand. It's a plane ticket.

"What?" I muttered.

"I was the one who asked you to go. Take it. I'll give you the paddock pass when we get to Bahrain," he said.

I reached for the back of his neck to pull him over for a kiss. I guess he was stunned at first because he didn't move. I pulled away but stayed near as I stare at his beautiful face. His eyes were shut, jaw clenched, and I can feel his breathing heavy.

I kissed him again and this time he responded the same fervor to my every kiss. His hand traveled to my jaw and the other one to my back.

He pulled away and pulled me into an embrace, kissing the top of my head. We stayed that way for few minutes, watching the people pass by. By the people's reactions, some thought it's cute, some thought it's PDA, but right now, I don't care any of their opinions.

His back is leaning on the tree trunk while I lean to his chest while we read. He was playing with my fingers, intertwining them, fidgeting, and most of the times kissing the back of my hand. The only time he'll let go of my hand is when he or I have to turn to the next page.

We were quiet while reading. I can feel his breathing and from time to time, he'd kiss my temple. There are birds chirping above the tree, and the sound of the water flowing nearby makes me feel so peaceful.

I'd love to do this every single day. With him.

"You hungry?" he whispered to my ear.

I checked the time on his watch. I didn't even realize that we've been reading for two and a half hours now. I nodded.

"Yeah, can we go eat?" I asked him.

"Sure. Where do you want to eat?"

"Jollibee. I want their burger steak."
