Woonhak's POV
Two years have passed and today is the first day of senior year in high school. Ever since she left, I always topped the charts.

It's not that I don't like it.. it's just.. no fun. I am always a competitive person when she's around and I lose the hype when she's not around.

Even though we're a rival in school, actually.. I think we're a perfect match.

"Alright Woonhak. Good luck on your first day!" My dad said he dropped me off outside of the school.

"Thanks dad. I'll get going first!" I said and left the car. I took a deep breath before walking to enter the main gate of the academy.

As I approached the entrance, someone yelled my name. I turned around to see Jihoon running towards me energetically. "Morning!" He said.

"Morning, bro." I replied.

We walked together through the hallway before Jihoon excused himself to the toilet. He told me to go first which I simply agreed.

I was walking along the hallway trying to find my class for the morning when someone bumped into me. It caused one of my earbuds to drop.

The person just stands there and it pisses me off. I grabbed my earbuds on the floor and glared at her. But when I saw her face, I couldn't believe it.

"Y—Y/n?"

She smirked slightly. "Why? Surprised to see me again? Here?" Her smirk never left her lips as she stepped closer to me. "Told ya, I'll be back. What about you? Prepared yet?"

She grins and leaves me speechless.

"I'm not dreaming right..?"

The bell rang and I was snapped out of my thoughts. I ran to my class and thankfully, the teacher is still nowhere to be seen.

As soon as I entered the class, I saw her busy talking with her best friend, Haerin. Maybe I was so focused on her that I tripped over a foot.

"Oh my—"

I got up from the floor and saw Jihoon holding back his laugh while the other students did the same.

"Yah Han Jihoon.. do you have a death wish?!" Jihoon quickly ran away and out of the class as I wasted no time to chase him.

I stopped chasing him after remembering the class is about to start. The whole class laughed at us as we entered the class and saw our homeroom teacher shake her head.

"Sit down both of you."

The semester is fun. I started to be a lot more competitive than years before now that she's back. I can't deny her great intelligence and she is topping the chart again.

Graduation Day..

"Congratulations for achieving a perfect grade in the last semester exams." The principal congratulates the three top students on the stage with him.

"Now, it's time to announce the best student of class 2025. Achieving the highest score in Mathematics, Chemistry and English. Congratulations to L/n Y/n!"

The latter humbly bowed her head to the crowd and the other two students beside her.

Before stepping ahead to receive her certificate, she gave her best friend, Haerin a side hug and a smile to the other one, Woonhak.

The ceremony finally ended. The students spent their time taking photos, talking and sharing their plans for the future.

Woonhak approached Y/n and asked if she's interested in applying to the university he's been eyeing of.

"Yah, have you applied to any university yet?" He asked.

"I'm still choosing the best option I could."

Woonhak nods his head. "Well, I'm planning to apply for Seoul National University. Are you going to?"

She scoffed and suddenly, her lips formed a smirk. "Why would I go there?"

He blinked, clearing his throat before correcting his posture. "W—Well, I'm just asking."

I shook my head, clicking my tongue as my eyes narrowed slightly at him. "I guess you still want to be my enemy, Kim Woonhak."
