Leehan's POV
Falling in love with your best friend, cliché right? But that's what I'm going through right now. Falling in love with my own best of friend, Y/n.

She's pretty and beautiful, but what I like the most about her is...her personality. She's funny and someone that you'll never get tired of.

Every day, whenever I see her at school. My heart will flutter. She has the smile that would blow your mind and infectious laughter that will make you laugh too.

She's the student that would ace everything in school. Even sports. No wonder if other people admire her too. She's the most popular girl in school and you can't blame her for it.

"Earth to Leehan."

I snapped out of my deep thoughts. Finally realising her presence beside me.

"O- Oh?" I stuttered.

She flashes me a smile and chuckles. "Thinking about someone?" She jokes. I kept quiet because I got speechless and she began to wiggle her eyebrows.

"Am I right?! Who is it? You finally have your eyes on someone?!" She exclaims excitedly.

I got shocked and immediately shook my head in denial. "Yah! I'm not!"

"Ey~ why are you getting all flustered then?" She continues to tease me.

I let out a sigh, refusing to prolong the argument. She understands my silence and said, "Okay fine. Let's go, we don't want to be late for Mr. Lee's class."

We walked to our class a bit earlier before the recess ended. All the way to our class, she walked in front of me and I couldn't help but stare at her.

"Why can't she see me? Why can't she notice me?" These words keep replaying in my head. I've been dropping hints for her, just why?

Does she like someone else? Does she just see me as a friend? Or...does she just pretend because she doesn't want to?

We entered the class and let the day pass by. As usual, I'll walk her to her house since we live in the same neighborhood. The walk was quiet just like the other days, and we simply enjoyed each other's company.

"Are you angry with me?" She suddenly asked, her eyebrows furrowed slightly.

"Hum? Why would I?" I asked, my voice was slow but still audible.

"You didn't talk much to me after recess." She pouted, crossing her arms over her chest.

I put my hand in the pocket as we continue to walk. "I'm not. Just thinking about something."

"What is it about? Want to share?" She asked me after stopping her steps and turned to face me.

"You're right, I'm thinking about a girl."

Her jaw dropped as she stared at me. "Finally? Really Leehan?!" Her happy tone somehow hurts me. Why can't she understand me?

"Tell me about her!" She excitedly asks. She walks to stand beside me as we continue our walk.

"She's pretty, cute and sweet. Everything that is synonymous with adorable fits her. She's kind. What I like the most about her is- her personality." I describe everything that I could at the time. Stealing a glance at her if she realised that, that's her I'm talking about.

But she seems clueless. I keep thinking if she really is.

"Why don't you ask her out? Who's she? Someone in our school?" She continues to ask but we already reached her house. I thank God for helping me get away from her questions.

"We're here. Get in." I refused to answer her questions and I saw how her face turned into a sad one.

She groaned. "Urgh, fine."

I waved her goodbye while she replied nonchalantly. I began to walk when I heard her yelling.

"Yah Leehan! Tell me more about her via message!"

I smiled bitterly, not turning around and continued to walk away.

I could feel my heart aches by her for being oblivious. I took my steps heavily but suddenly stopped. I turn around to see if she's still there but she's already out of sight.

For the umpteenth time of the day, I sighed. Looking at the sky before shifting my eyes to her room's window.

"Can't you see me?"
