"I need to tell you something," Aemond mumbled, closing his eye. He rested his ear against her bump, placing his hand over her skin.

"Do you have a whore?" Visenya asked, wiping the sweat off her forehead from their previous activities.

"Fucking kill me if my answer is ever yes to that question."

Visenya laughed and ran her fingers through his hair. Not that she ever expected his answer to change to that question. Aemond had the kind of undying loyalty that all women wanted in a man. "What's wrong, ñuha jorrāelagon?"

"Right before I found you with all that blood, Larys told me. He made it sound like a threat, almost like he wanted to expose you for being mad. As if hurting yourself makes you crazy. But that means he's spying."

Visenya looked down at him and noticed he was shaking. "Aemond," she said softly.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. Part of me is terrified and it's so foreign to me. I don't like being so vulnerable and emotional but when it comes to you, everything is foreign. I wouldn't even want to live if anything happened to you, Vis."

Visenya wrapped her arms around him as best she could, kissing the top of his head. "Hey, I'm right here. And I'm okay. We're all okay. You, me, and Maegor. Although Orwyle thinks I'm big enough to be carrying twins."

Twins, what a thought. Two little ones to mirror Aemond and Visenya, two children to love. Visenya knew they had enough love to share. She just hoped her little Maegor would be born first. She didn't know if she'd want the second to be a boy or a girl. She wouldn't even know what to name them.

Aemond chuckled and kissed her skin. "Then there are two little dragons to love. Either, I can't lose you now that I have you. I spent so much time hating you that I feel like we've lost valuable time."

"Aemond, we are still young. We will be okay. I know it, I can feel it. We can deal with Larys later, it wouldn't be in his or Alicent's interest to hurt us. You don't have to hold all of this yourself, Aemond."

"Tell your mother to stop worrying," Aemond mumbled against her, still kissing her bump. His new obsession, to be honest.

"And tell your father to share the burden. I'm your wife, Aemond. You don't get to be alone anymore. We share these things together now. You and me, okay? Don't you think I should know if I'm in danger?"

"No," he said with a hint of a grin.

She flicked his forehead and smiled. "Aemond, don't be an ass. We are alone in a castle of vipers. If I can't trust you with this kind of stuff, then there's something wrong. You are my rock and have helped me through some of the worst times. I want to be that for you."

His hand reached up to cup her cheek, his thumb rubbing over her cheekbone. "Iksan sīr vaoreznuni, dōna zaldrīzes."
*I am so sorry, sweet dragon.
