Visenya had dozed off to the sound of Aemond's voice reading to their children and was happy to still hear him reading when she woke up. He had started with the Doom of Valyria and was now at Aegon's conquest. The hot sun was heating up the room with the windows open and she was thankful to be wearing a dress with thin material and minimal sleeves. Now that she was no longer pregnant, she could go back to wearing risky dresses that made a statement.

"Ziry iksos interesting skorkydoso nyke managed naejot claim vhagar se dīnagon iā ābra brōstan visenya, se brōzi hen vhagar's original kipagīros.  Mirri might ivestragon nyke planned bona," Aemond said softly.
*It's interesting how I managed to claim Vhagar and marry a woman named Visenya, the name of Vhagar's original rider. Some might say I planned that.

Visenya smiled and opened her eyes. "Gōntan ao kȳvanon ziry?"
*Did you plan it?

Aemond looked over at her, a smile creeping on his face as he balanced the twins in his lap, a book in his hand. "I did not plan on falling in love with you. I had planned on you being dead by now."

Visenya snorted. "Sounds about right. I was about to spare you the experience altogether."

Aemond stood up and walked to their bed, sitting next to her. She took Maegor into her arms and Aemond kept Laenora. "The day Grey Ghost found me, I was about to kill myself. It was on my nameday and I was ready."

Aemond watched her with an intent eye. "I won't lie, none of this is was what I originally wanted with my life. I wanted to be a knight and possibly Kingsguard for Aegon when that was the plan. I didn't want children, and I sure as hell didn't want you. I'd make sure you suffered an accident or Vhagar ate you."

"I don't know what I did to deserve such a romantic," Visenya snickered.

"I think I have more than proved how much I am content with this change of plans," he said, looking at Laenora. She was beginning to get sleepy, her eyelids heavy with sleep. Her purple eyes stayed on Aemond and he put a thumb over her cheek, stroking softly. She let out a yawn, snuggling into his chest. "You are mine, little dragon. My sweet girl."

"She'll have to marry one day," Visenya teased.

"Keep it up and you'll no longer be my favorite person," Aemond mumbled

"Her dragon needs a name." That was the downside to the new arrangement. It had been two days since the attack and the dragons never wanted to leave their side. So they had the twins in their room and two baby dragons that took watch next to the fireplace.

"In keeping with the tradition, what about Valerion?"

"Sounds a lot like Valyrian."

"We could just go with Meraxes. Twin dragons, Veraxes and Meraxes."

"Seems strange to reuse a name. We could keep the V. Verlys."

"What do you think, sweet girl?" Aemond asked, patting her small back, "Do you like Verlys?"
