CHAPTER 6 - Whispers Of The Past

WHISPERS OF THE PAST

After Eevee joined Solar and his friends, the group went sightseeing around Melemele Island, although it's been a long time since Eclipse and Solar haven't been in Alola, they still remembered a lot of places in Melemele. And so, they decided to bring them to the shopping mall.

"Wow, the shopping mall is huge. Let's just hope nobody gets lost here." Azalea widened her eyes as she was surprised how big the interior of the mall was.

"Yeah, it'll suck a lot if.." Eclipse looked around and saw no sign of Charles anywhere.

"Wait a second, where's Charles!?" Eclipse started to panic as she couldn't see Charles.

"You have got to be kidding me!" Azalea groaned as she facepalmed.

"How are we supposed to find Charles in this crowd?" Solar sighed as he saw numerous people.

"Come on, let's try to look for him." Azalea sighed as she looked disappointed.

"Knowing him, he probably saw something that he had never seen before." Eclipse hummed as she crossed her arms.

Before they took a step forward, Mudkip sniffed around.

Mud! Kip!

(Solar! This way!)

"Great, I think Mudkip might've sensed Charles' scent." Azalea looked happy again.

"Let's follow it." Solar nodded.

"Zoroark, stay close." Azalea looked at her pokemon and it nodded.

They followed Mudkip as it was trying to look for Charles scent. While they were running, Eclipse couldn't keep up with their speed but she kept on running nonetheless.

Suddenly, Mudkip stopped. Making Eclipse bumped into Solar but luckily, Azalea caught Solar before he fell. They were confused as to why Mudkip would stop so suddenly. They looked forward and saw Charles, the boy they were searching for and he seemed to be staring at a big screen TV.

"There you are Cha-

"Shush!" Charles shushed Azalea, making her pissed.

"Don't you shush me!" Azalea groaned as she was about to punch him.

"Look!" Charles pointed at the TV, making the girls look at it too.

It would seem that a reporter was talking with a woman with aqua eyes and peach hair and it looks like her beauty caught Charles' attention.

"So, just to recap. Eclipse, Solar and I had to run everywhere in the mall to find you, just to find out your attention went to a woman you've never seen before on TV?" Azalea recapitulated what had just happened this very moment.

"Never knew you were into girls, Charles." Eclipse nervously laughed.

"Heinh!?" Charles snapped out of his thoughts and looked back. "That's Sonia, one of my closest friends and she is my girlfriend." Charles shook his head.

"GIRLFRIEND!?" Said the girls and Solar in unison.

"TO THE GALAR REGION, HERE WE COME!" Charles screamed as loud as he did, grabbing everyone's attention.

"He's literally an embarrassment and he doesn't even realize it." Azalea sighed as she was embarrassed herself.

While they left the shopping mall, the girls had to deal with Charles talking about how magnificent and literal beauty Sonia was. Before they left for the Galar region, they all said their goodbyes to Professor Kukui and Professor Burnet. While they were on the plane, Solar was taking care of his new Eevee. Eclipse and Charles were exhausted today so they fell asleep and for Azalea, she was busy writing a letter and she sometimes looked out the window to see stars in the night sky.
