As a man thinketh

As a man thinketh so is he, that's what the Bible says of me

I know my thoughts are sometimes unkind I know

But the heart of man is desperately wicked

Doesn't the Bible tells us so?

At times Lord, I feel their judgemental talks

Laughing at my back saying, "Which path does she thinks she walks?"

They laugh and talk with me as they should

But why do I feel that they are up to no good?

Is it me? Is my thinking as it should not be?

Or is that Lord You are revealing something to me...

My life, talks and actions are an open book

For all to see, anyone who dares to take a look.

I know at times I reveal more than I should of me

But an honest and truthful life I want to be;

A life that gives all the glory to You, My Majesty.

So Lord, if I am at fault this day I pray,

Please cleanse me and guide me by your hand today...

A truthful and honest life I want to be

The one that gives glory to You and only thee.
