Yet thru these years my love for you remained strong

Or that your love for me would remain steadfast and true-
My heart sang when your love for me you declared
I wondered what in me had made you feared

This is what my heart will always say to you.
I may not be the one with whom you'd chose to be
Yet in my heart I chose you for me
I love you like no other man I would
No matter how I try I never could
You mean the world to me
And now that I have your love I am free
It matters not whether today, tomorrow or never
This love I have for you nothing can sever
