Trusting You

I look around and see

The birds happily flitting from tree to tree.

No cares have they. Not even a worry

To me their lives never seem to be in a hurry.

I know I am blessed and loved by God above

But yet to totally trust Him is the hardest problem to solve

Let not your heart be troubled are the word He says

Yet my situation asks when the bets arise who really pays?

Then to His Word on bended knees I go

And He gently questions "I will take care of you

Haven't I always told you so?

Who takes care of the birds and the animals you see?

Doesn't even nature shows you that I, your God, your provider will be?

Wait on me and be of good cheer

I promised I will never leave you my dear."

So gladly I put my hands trustingly in His

As He leads me all the way

And in my new found joy and trust

My heart simply says "O what a bliss!"
