Hindi ko natapos ang dapat kong sasabihin ng biglang may tumawag sa pangalan ko.
“Ms. Astrid!”
Pareho kaming tumingin ni Kian sa taong tumawag sa sakin. He seems to be mid-twenties, nag bow muna siya bago nagpatuloy sa kanyang sasabihin,
“Good day, Miss…and also Mr. Kian. Master has already prepared the car, this way please.”

Ever since we left the airport, we never talk to each other. Seguro naramdaman din ni Kian na wala akong balak makipag-usap. I mean, kahit sino naman seguro…lalo na deep inside, parang may nagsasabi na bumabago ang takbo ng nobela. Which I don’t know if it’s good or bad. Good since there’s a chance I will not meet a tragic end, and bad…is because I don’t know what lies beyond us.

After another 15 minutes of traveling, we finally reach my family’s hidden mansion.

The man who escorted us earlier opened the door for us. Pagkalabas namin ay dumiretso na kami sa loob kung saan mayroong limang katulong ang naghihintay kasama na doon ang isa sa mga loyal butler ng ama ko. He’s the one managing and protecting this mansion.
“Welcome Young Lady…it’s been a year. I hope you also enjoy your time during your stay here together with,” Tinignan ng matandang butler si Kian mula ulo hanggang paa bago nagpatuloy, “Sir Kian.”
“Nice to finally meet you Robert.” Kian said as he extend his hand for a hand shake which Robert also accept.
“Likewise…Master has already told me about you.”
“I’m glad that you both know each other. Uncle Robert, please escort Kian to his designated room. I am going upstairs.” After that I left them and headed to my room.
