Another day of school

Another day of school. Great. We couldn't skip today cause we already skipped yesterday. That would've made us look strange, and our parents were going to find out.

Last night I slept terribly. The words Nolan said to me last night kept me up. I didn't cry. I didn't tell anybody. I was angry. I got up to my room and locked the door.
What was more annoying was when he was walking up the stairs, he called me a "dumb bitch" loudly, wanting attention, but I just threw up the middle finger. My parents were trying to get me to talk to him and try to talk it out but that was impossible, so eventually they gave up. If anyone needed to apologize, it was his messed up self.

I picked up my black backpack that laid on the floor next to my vanity. I swung it over my shoulder and grabbed my phone from the edge of the vanity.

I walked towards the body mirror in the room and did one last scan of my cute but comfortable outfit. I had on some black biker shorts and a black Moanalisa graphic tee shirt, paired with my Panda dunks. My hair was down and freshly clean and blow-dried, since instead of thinking about me and Nolan's argument all night, I wanted to blow-dry my damped hair and worry about myself.

I tapped my phone that was in my hand and saw that it was 8:05. That meant I should be down stairs in five minutes. Luckily I didn't need those extra minutes, I was fully ready.

I shoved my phone into the side of my shorts, walked towards my room door, and twisted the flick to unlock the door. I opened the door and closed it behind me. I began making my way downstairs hearing some voices.

Once I stepped on the last step, I saw my mother, father, and lastly, my older brother having a conversation.

Nice.

In order to get under his skin, I just acted like it didn't happen. As if we didn't argue, but I still wasn't going to communicate with him. Hell no.

"Morning." I greeted my parents with a delicate smile, as I made my way toward the snack cabinet, near Nolan.

"Morning...Where are you going?" My parents asked, eyeing my every move and making sure I wasn't going to pull anything on my brother.

"Getting a snack. Why? What's the problem?" I asked, looking over and opening the cabinet, finding small bags of cool ranch Doritos and gushers.

"Nothing, nothing." I heard my mom mutter as I took my back pack off, place it on the counter, and opened it.

"You're the fucking problem," Nolan whispered, but it still heard him. I looked over at him and gave him a rude glare.
