We waited for the cops for what seemed like hours, as we were parked outside of the constitution site.

We all sat in silence as I was cuddled against JJ, feeling paranoid from the latest event that has happened. My arm was wrapped around his muscle shoulder, as he held my hand.

All of a sudden, I watched the blonde boy slowly turn his head towards me, and I felt his light blue eyes bulge through my body.

I turned my head towards him and we locked eyes. I watched him read my fearful complexion and I saw his face drop to remorse.

"Don't be scared," JJ whispered lowly before I felt him lay a few kisses on my dirty and wet brown hair. I smiled to myself as JJ was able to cure fearfulness with three words and one simple action.

Then out of the corner of my eyes, I saw blue and red bright flashing lights approach us. A small huff left my mouth in a relieved manner.

"Let's go, crew," I mumbled, unwrapping my arm from JJ's muscular and tan arm. "Let's take a guess. Which officer do you think is going to come?" Pope spoke up, taking his seatbelt off.

"If it's Thomas, I'm killing myself," I stated, feeling JJ lightly smack my exposed thigh, with the back of his hand, at my comment. "I have a feeling it's Plumb," Kiara spoke up, as I looked over at JJ.

I saw him giving me a stern look. He knew I was just joking because me and the pouges always say that. But since our two friends were almost taken away from us too soon, he doesn't want to joke like that anymore. Which is understandable.

"I think Plumb's annoying self is going to somehow end up here as well." Pope chuckled, getting out of the car.

"I'm sorry," I whispered, looking back up at my serious boyfriend. "It's okay. Just be careful with what you say. I don't know if you mean it sometimes." He answered, as I opened the car door, and my eyes widened.

"JJ." I scoffed, getting out of the car. "I'm not trying to insult you. But you know where I'm coming from and why I'm saying this." We locked eyes as my tongue poked against my cheek.

"Yes."

"Okay, so that's it. I don't understand why we're still talking about it." JJ snapped, making me furrow my brown eyebrows at the sudden change of attitude in his voice.

"Oh shit." I heard Pope say, making me snap my head toward him. I watched as the one and only Officer Shoupe got out of his cop car.

"Awesome, he's definitely going to believe us," I whispered, facepalming my forehead, and harshly closing my brown eyes. "It's worth a try," JJ responded before I opened my eyes and gave him a weird look.
