"Pope! Slow down." I nervously shouted over the loud car engine, pressing my back into the passenger seat, while he recklessly drove down the clean dark street of figure eight.

"Huh!" He teased.

I peeked over my shoulder at the quiet backseat, staring at all of my uneasy friends, who stared at me with bulging eyes, and also attempted to keep themselves stuck into the car seat, nearly holding each other in anxiety.

"I can't hear ya!" Pope cracked up, causing me to cock my head towards him, watching a vast and optimistic smile form on his thick lips.

We were all quietly driving back to the trashed church, with the peaceful and dark Outer Banks sky staring down at us as we took a huge risk while agreeing for Pope to drive us there. Only because he threatened to injure me, but who knows if he was going to actually do it, he got drugged with some random medication, and I don't want to be on his bad side just in case a side effect comes in.

"Uh, Pope, you're driving pretty fast." Sarah attempted to back me up with an uncomfortable and soft voice, before he began howling in response, harshly clutching the steering wheel, as I watched the dark and long trees fastly breeze by.

"Pope, last to judge, but I think you should slow down a little." JJ gave it a try, while I let out an approving hum, attempting to convince Pope to another level to slow down.

"That would definitely delay our arrival to the cross. We gotta get there." Pope informed, peeling a hand away from a steering wheel, and pointing a finger towards the empty road in front of us.

"Why did we let him drive again?" Kiara piped up from the cramped backseat, while my pearly teeth smashed together in awkwardness.

"He said he was going to bite my ear off," I whispered, glancing over my shoulder, and watching all of my friends stare at me with a ridiculous complexion.

"And you believe him?" JJ questioned, cocking one of his thin and neat blonde eyebrows in inquisitiveness, but I've always comprehended that if my boyfriend was anywhere near me, nobody was going to try to touch me or mess with me.

Unless you're a bitch called Rafe Cameron.

"I don't kno-I guess-well yes-Look at him! He's behaving like a squirrel with type-six rabbis!" I stammered, shortly raising my voice, and moving one of my slim hands, aiming it at him.
