Get used to the pose, because he's practically in the same pose for everything before chapter 5. Also the facial expression...it's key to knowing how he's dealing with the infection. Anyway the AU mark thing is a reference to TWO things! 1. The release date of Honkai Impact 3rd and 2. The chapter number! Finally the reason for the Yamato powering down and his arm going back to normal is due to how his molecular structure had to be rebuilt from the ground up as he was traveling to the Elysian Realm, essentially just rebooting his body so it's normal and not..."mutated".

The next appearance of our boy here! This brung the Devil Bringer back into the story along with the discovery of how the Infection would go against his Electrokinesis, making him feel uneasy while the pain was faintly affecting his mental state. To be honest, Chapter 3 surprised me with how well I made the fight choreography for the chapter...also sorry for the chapters getting longer from here on out!

Nothing much to say for Chapter 4's appearance besides the experimentation of the white coat...yeah...and it's also while writing Chapter 4 that the guy I was writing the book with kinda dipped...leaving me to work on this book alone. It also meant that I couldn't write his character out due to how deep it was embedded into the plot, so I just had to try my best to keep his character in the story while also NOT having him in...takes "Flyin Solo" to a whole nother level.
