Vince looked in his rear view mirror, smiling to himself at the sight of Mick laid across the back seat, with a new born baby on his chest, and his head in his older daughter's lap, watching her play with Mick's hair.

"How do you know my daddy?" The girl asked.

"Well... I used to be your daddy and Nikki's neighbor, they had just moved in next to me and my best friend Tommy"

"Mommy said daddy had a new friend, is that you?" She asked. "She said it kinda funny though"

Vince hummed and looked at Mick for a
moment, he just looked completely at peace, he reached up and tapped his daughters nose.

"Daddy that tickles!" She giggled.

"You know who else is ticklish?" Mick asked. "Vinny"

Vince gasped.

"How dare you" Vince laughed.

"Vin-ny" Mick's daughter repeated.

"And what's your name, beautiful?" Vince asked.

"Stormy" She said happy, giggling a bit.

"You've got a beautiful laugh honey, just like your dad" Vince said sweetly.

"Where are we going daddy?" Stormy asked.

"Home, sweetheart," Mick said quietly. "You, me, Vinny, Nikki and Tommy, and..." he looked at the sleeping baby on his chest and sighed. "Vinny, dearest"

"Mickey dearest" Vince teased.

"You're a menace..." Mick said under his breath. "What should we call her, hm?" He asked. "What's a name you like?" He reached for Vince's shoulder and rubbed it, twirling a blonde lock of hair in his fingers. "Think on it"

"I'll take you guys home and then I think I'll take Nikki and run to the store" Vince said.

"I think driving is safer" Stormy said, clearly teasing Vince.

"You little stinker, you are just like your daddy" Vince chuckled.

"We just went to the store, what do you
Need?" Mick asked.

"Don't worry bout it" Vince said comfortingly.

"Wanna see uncle Nikki!" Stormy said excitedly.

"Good, cuz we're home I think" Mick said.

He sat up, holding his baby tight to his chest. Vince got out of the car and walked to where Mick was in the back seat and helped him out. They rested their foreheads together for a moment.

"Go inside, I'll get their bags" Vince said softly. "Go lay down, I got everything"

"Vinny..." Mick tried cutting him off.

"Mickey" Vince said. "Please, take the girls, go lay down, alls you gotta do is send Nikki down" he pressed a long kiss on Mick's cheek. "I love you, you have such a beautiful family"

"We have a beautiful family" Mick whispered. "Don't take too long, okay?"

"I won't, I love you, I'll be up soon with bags" Vince pecked Mick's lips once before pressing a longer one.

"Daddy?" Stormy squeaked.

"Yes baby?" Mick said, quickly separating from Vince.

"Where are we?" She asked.

"Home, honey, cmon, let's go inside to see Uncle Nikki" He took her hand and walked up the stairs to their apartment.

Vince watched them disappear and popped his trunk, sitting on it for a moment. He sighed. He wasn't sure if he should be sad, relieved, happy. Mick's got all he's ever wanted now, who's to say that Mick doesn't need Vince anymore? He felt his eyes get wet.

"I know what you're thinking, quit it" Nikki startled Vince out of his thoughts. "Bags can wait, we need to drive" he rubbed Vince's back and plucked the keys from his hand. "Cmon bro-in-law"
He teased.

Vince closed the trunk quietly and got into the passenger seat of his own car, still being quiet. Nikki backed out and drove out of the parking lot.

"So... how come you look bummed?" Nikki asked.

"I... dunno..." Vince shrugged, looking out the window. "He just looks so... at ease now"

"He's been fightin with her for a long time about his kids" Nikki said quietly. "But I know he wouldn't be complete without you" he said. "I know he's pretty expressionless, but... when he looks at you or says somethin about you... it's all love in his eyes man, and he's been waitin for the right time to ask you to marry him" Nikki hummed endearingly.

"I just love him so much" Vince said, his voice sounding a little hoarse.

"Trust me, Vinny, I don't think he'd be happy without you" Nikki said.

"How's it going between you and Tommy?" Vince asked, changing the subject. Nikki clearly noticed, but decided not to press on it.

"Good, actually, I think we figured a lot of things out while we were cooped up in a motel room" Nikki smiled a bit dopey.

"Oooh, do I wanna know all the juicy details?" Vince asked.

"Ah probably not" Nikki laughed. "I was... ahm... juicy... like, everywhere" he said rather disgusted.

"Oh god, gross man" Vince wrinkle his nose. "I didn't mean those juicy details"

"I blew both my ass out, and my brains out, at the same time" Nikki continued.

"Please-"

"I told you you probably didn't wanna know, but, im gonna tell you anyways" Nikki snickered.

"Oh good lord..." Vince muttered. "Nikki, I love you, I really really do, you're like my bestest friend ever, in the whole wide world, but you really don't need to continue"

"Aww you sure?" Nikki asked in mock defeat.

"Ah huh" Vince nodded.

"Anyways... what're we going to the store for?" Nikki asked.

"I mean... we're not really equipped to have kids... but, you know his kids better than I do, I dunno what we need, but-"

"Ah, to a different store" Nikki yanked a hard right and went down a different road.
