Nikki relapsed hard again after he and Tommy got their own apartment together, a couple weeks before they were supposed to get married. He went back to rehab on his own.

Tommy went to therapy while Nikki was in rehab. It took a toll on him when he had to call 911 because his boyfriend was bleeding out and unconscious. He even moved back in with Vince and Mick. He had nightmares all night for a week before Mick convinced him to go to therapy, and even went with him sometimes. Nikki wrote Tommy notes and songs every day he was at the rehab center.

Mick and Vince held off their wedding so Nikki could be there, despite Nikki's protests to just get married without him.

"No... you can't push your wedding" Nikki said.

"We can, and we will" Mick said.

"We're not getting married without you, Nik" Vince said.

"But-"

"No buts Nikki... besides, someone's gotta be my best man" Vince said.

Vince got up and hugged Nikki tight.

"You're like my best friend, man" Vince said quietly. "There's four of us, and it's not the same when one's missing"

"How's Tommy?" Nikki asked.

"He's doing better" Mick said, rubbing Nikki's back.

"I fucked up so bad..." Nikki held onto Vince tighter and cried.

Mick wrapped his arm behind Nikki and rested one of his hands around the back of Vince's thigh, as they huddled close to Nikki.

"It's okay" Vince soothed. "You've had a hard life..." he whispered. "We're so proud of you"

"I fucked up!" Nikki sobbed harder.

"Shh..." Vince whispered. "It's okay Nik, he supports you in this, we support you, okay?"

"I love you guys so much" Nikki whispered.

"We love you too, man" Mick said. "Tommy's gonna come see ya tomorrow, and guess who he's bringing?" He asked.

"Who?" Nikki asked, wiping his face.

"Lizzie" Vince smiled.

"I miss the girls" Nikki said, leaning his head into Vince's chest. "Can I come home yet?"

"How've ya been feelin?" Mick asked.

"Like shit... god I feel so fuckin awful about fuckin everything..." Nikki sniffled.

"Shit happens, Nik" Mick said rather warmly. "You're here, and that's what matters"

"Please guys... don't push your wedding" Nikki pleaded, looking up at Vince.

"Tough shit, Nik, new date is being set"

Nikki looked so healthy at their wedding.

Mick was sure the world stopped when Vince walked down the isle with his mother. He looked so beautiful, and he felt so grateful to have a family as wonderful as his.

Vince insisted that Tommy and Nikki get married right then and there. Why not? The priest was glad to stay and marry them. So they did, despite not having any vows prepared, they got married.

A few months later, Storm started middle school. Mick didn't like it, his little girl being gone all day. He got bored doing instrument repairs while she was gone and while Vince was taking closing shifts at a few different places. It was worth it though when Storm bust in the house all excited to tell her dad how school went, and at the odd hours of the night, Vince finally slipped into bed.

Tommy and Nikki got up many exotic escapades. They didn't end up with any kids, but a few dogs, who they brought over to Mick and Vince's quite often. Lizzie got all the puppy kisses. Tommy often took him to his parents Greek diner for dinner.

Sometimes they did it in the kitchen, on the table, sometimes in the living room with the blinds open. Tied up, tied down, up against the wall.

Nikki got Storm a snake for her birthday. Which Mick didn't mind at all, they already had a lizard. It made Vince get squeamish, but all in good humor.

Lizzie started walking just just before her second birthday, or what they deemed her birthday to be. She walked right into her daddy's arms. Vince didn't feel too left out, she did say Dad first. Dad and Daddy was still confusing.

But there were no more bad days. A couple fits and tantrums sometimes. But no more bad days.
