They brushed their noses together as they sat in the sun outside. Mick and Nikki were finally out of rehab. Nikki was at his and Tommy's new apartment making up for 'lost time'.

"You're glowing, oh baby, you look so good" Vince said warmly. "So... I was thinkin..." he drawled. "And... after we get married... what if we buy a house somewhere? Girls get their own rooms... we get a little more private space" he said lowly in Mick's ear, his lips touching the shell of it.

"Mm... since they're making up for lost time... so can we" Mick said quietly, kissing Vince's cheek, making him groan softly in Mick's ear. "We're in public, behave"

Vince dramatically groaned. They looked back over to where their daughter was playing.

"Her and Skye would've been best friends" Vince said quietly.

Mick leaned forward and flushed his chest against Vince's back and wrapped his arms around him.

"She's such a blessing" Vince whispered. "You're a blessing..."

"She's watchin, she'd be proud of you" Mick whispered. "She'd be more upset if you didn't move on and keep going"

"You think so?" Vince leaned his head against Mick's.

"I know so" Mick whispered. He pressed a couple light kisses to Vince's neck.

"We should head home, I'm hungry" Vince changed the mood.

"Good idea" Mick pecked Vince's cheek. "And I think Lizzie's gettin a little fussy. She is your daughter" he teased.

"Oh God, she's doomed" Vince laughed. "Go get your girl, I'll get Lizzie in the car"

"Sounds good, thanks hon" Mick squeezed Vince's waist for a moment.

Vince turned his head and kissed him lightly before standing up and wandering to the car. Mick got up and waved at his daughter, trying to get her attention. He smiled when she was too distracted to notice. He wandered closer and snuck up behind her, making her squeak and giggle. He saw a woman approach them at a quick pace and put some distance between him and his daughter.

"Who do you think you are?" She asked.

"Uh..." Mick drawled, thrown off by what just happened. "Who do you think you are?" He sneered.

"What are you doing here?" She asked.

"... I don't even think I know how to respond to you..." Mick said. He was trying his best not to lash out in front of his, and other kids.

"Dad?" Storm called out. Mick felt his heart get warm at that, he watched as Vince rush over, baby in hand.

"What's up honey?" Vince took her hand.

"Will you get out of my way?" Mick sneered.

"You shouldn't be allowed near children" the woman snapped.

Mick cocked an eyebrow and looked at Vince.

"Do you mind like..." Mick started to say. "Ma'am that's my kid." He glared at her. "Vince I'm trying real hard to be nice here"

"Heather..." Vince sighed.

"You know her?" Mick asked, his angry demeanor faltering a bit.

"She's Ash's mom, Heather, this is Storm's dad" Vince sighed.

"I thought you were her dad?" She turned around and looked at Vince suspiciously.

Storm went around her and clung to Mick, looking up at him. He smiled down at her and rubbed her hair.

"They're our kids, Heather" Mick said, saying her name with venom in his tone.

"Aren't you a little young to have kids her age?" She asked Vince.

"Aren't you a little old to be hittin up boys like me?" Vince asked, making Mick chuckle.

"Vinny" Mick's mood crashed. "Let's go"

"Cmon, baby" Vince held onto Mick's hand. He kissed the back of it before they all went back to the car.

Mick opened the passenger door and sat sideways in it for a moment. Storm came around and hugged him tight.

"I'm sorry daddy" She said. "She's mean"

"S'okay baby, you're our little girl, and that's not gonna change" he whispered.

"What about Lizzie?" She asked curiously.

"Our baby girl. But... you've always been a daddy's girl."

"Love you daddy" she smiled.

"Love you too, baby girl, hop in the car" he kissed her forehead and gave her one more tight hug.

The ride back home was fairly quiet. No one said anything except Lizzie sometimes. They arrived to their apartment and everyone got out except for Mick.

"I'll be up, I just need a moment" he said.

"Okay" Vince hummed, he leaned over and kissed Mick's cheek.

He took the girls upstairs and Mick pulled out a pack of cigarettes. He went through a couple of them before Vince came back down and joined him.

"What did she say to you?" He asked, taking a cigarette and lighting it.

"Is that the first time she's called you dad?" Mick asked, avoiding the question.

"Papa sounded weird to her" Vince mused. "She said it made me sound old"

Mick hummed, taking another long drag of his cigarette.

"Come back inside. The girls are napping, we can get one in too" Vince coaxed.

Mick nodded and finished off his cigarette. They went up the stairs and headed for their room. Vince eased Mick on the bed and straddled his body, giving him loving kisses. He nipped and sucked, licked and bit at Mick's lips. He licked up Mick's throat to the back of his ear, bitting his earlobe and whispering into it.

"Too much?" Vince asked, starting to kiss and suck at Mick's neck.

Mick hummed and turned his head to give Vince more room. His eyes fluttered shut and he slipped his hands under Vince's shirt.

"Never too much..."
