Tangled Love

Chapter 2: A Friend

*The typical android alarm rings...* Y/n woke up and went to the kitchen to make some coffee. As the coffee was still boiling hot she decided to bath and get ready for the day. She had lots of hope on making good impressions towards others.

She wore a formal shirt and a black pants along with her shoes as the first day is going to be introductions about the college facilities and stuff. She drank her coffee that was in a perfect temperature to drink before leaving the house. She rechecked everything in her bag to ensure she didn't forget anything and locked her door. SLAM!! A loud sound was heard behind her. Y/n turned to look what it was. There were muddy footprints leading from the elevator to apartment opposite hers all along the corridor. There were also uncollected packages and letters piled outside that house.

"Well that's creepy" thought y/n, then she rushes her way out and booked a cab to get her to the college. She did make some new friends at the college although she was shy to reach out to anyone. Y/n always had a hard time making friends all along her school life as she had attachment issues. Yuki, a girl with short hair that looks absolutely pretty was being friendly towards y/n and even exchanged numbers to hang out. Yuki is absolutely an extroverted person and a social butterfly. She has a high confidence level where most guys stated to have a crush on her the first day itself which y/n really admired about it.

Yuki seemed to get along with y/n a lot compared to the other students. They had a lot of things in similar and they used to make fun of each other by shipping themselves with other guys for fun. As time goes by they were such good friends. Everyone knew that they were an inseparable duo in the class.

One day, Glenn (the guy that Yuki has a crush on) asked Yuki out on a date. They were a cute couple where they liked each other a lot and eventually they got together. As Yuki got into a relationship, she started spending less time with y/n causing her to feel lonely.

According to y/n although Yuki was a good friend of hers, she couldn't share her personal feelings or thoughts with her as y/n tends to keep everything to herself and piles everything inside her. Y/n also knows that Yuki has a best friend from a different college where Yuki is way closer with her than with y/n."Maybe she doesn't like me that much too" y/n kept thinking to herself.

Y/n had a slight crush on few guys in the class as they were good classmates to her. Yuki whom knew about y/n's thoughts started pulling strings around to help with y/n's love life. Unfortunately, the guys that Yuki thought that may like y/n seems to like other girls and were on their dating phase.

When y/n heard about it from Yuki, she was heartbroken but she couldn't express herself. So she goofed around and pretended to not feel sad or hurt about it. Where she is truly hurting herself inside. Yuki didn't seem to know what y/n was going through and she thought y/n was okay. So Yuki let it slide and she minded her own business.
