[2] Toothless the Nightfury

[TOOTHLESS POV]
I had just met with Luna, a Princess of The Hidden World. It was... quite the surprise to me. I thought she would yell at me, threaten me even, but... she seemed more nervous then even I was! ...Although, I will admit, I kinda liked that. Talking to her made me feel something I hadn't felt since I was still newborn, I can't exactly put my claw on it. I shoke my head and stopped thinking about Luna, or tried to at least.
"Focus, Toothless." I thought to myself.

I had come by the river to meet with someone who was special to me to talk about The Hidden World, specifically the royal parade that was happening in a week. I flew upwards towards the exit of The Hidden World, but right before going through the gap that leads outside, I take a sharp left and head towards a high cave. It's where me and my friend live. I landed inside it, and saw Stormfly, my friend.

She's a tall Deadly Nadder. I met her not too long after my fathers death. She was also alone, so we became friends and now are best friends. We support and help one another.
S: "Where've you been, Mr. Lonely?"
I laughed at her mockery. We joke around with each other a lot.
T: "I was by the river, and for your information Ms. Spiky, spoke with Luna."
S: "You spoke with royalty again? How did it go?"
We sat down next to each other.
T: "I was expecting the same reaction I got from that, who was it.. oh right, Luna's sister. I forgot her name."
S: "I know who you're talking about."
T: "Anyways, Luna actually seemed nice. She was pretty nervous when she saw me, I hope I didn't scare her because of..."
I gestures towards myself, being the only Nightfury left.
T: "...this."
S: "I'm sure she wasn't scared of you toothless. It sounds like she's unique, different from her family. You being different, I'd say she could've found you attractive."
I don't know why, but that made me smile and I very slowly wagged my tail thinking of that.
T: "Y-you think so?"
Stormfly immediately caught on, she stood up, ready to mock me more.
S: "Toothless has a crush on Luna, doesn't he?!"
Stormfly laughs as she hits my side playfully with her tail.
T: "N-no! Maybe, just shut up!"
I playfully swatted at her, blushing, embarrassed.
S: "Yeah sureeee, that's why you wagged-"
T: "Shut it!"
We both have a good laugh about it, and afterwards, she sits back down.
S: "Well, what did she say to you?"
T: "She didn't say much, it surprisingly was me doing most of the talking. We didn't talk much either though."
S: "Someone more socially awkward then you?"
T: "Hey, I was able to get a compliment in our conversation."
S: "What did you say?"
T: "I called her name beautiful."
S: "...Yeah, toothless, unless she's already fallen for you, you're gonna need stronger material then that."
T: "I've been alone for basically all of my life, I've only had you, can you really blame me?"
S: "I'm just messing with you!"
S: "But, if you are trying to win her over, I can give you some tips and pointers. "
T: "...How about later? I believe we had something important to talk about. "
S: "Oh right! Appius, the King of The Hidden World. So, he's hosting the royal parade, right? During the parade would be the best time for us to go out again. We haven't gone since last year!"
T: "It seems risky, Stormfly..."
S: "If you aren't willing to take risks, you aren't gonna get Luna."
T: "Can you stop talking about her?!"
Stormfly laughs.
S: "Fine fine, but you get the point. It's worth it, very much worth it."
T: "I'll consider it..."
S: "Good. I'll leave you alone with your daydreaming about Luna while I go get the fish you forgot to get."
T: "Oh!"
I had entirely forgotten why I even went to the river in the first place. Stormfly turned.
T: "Sorry!"
I said while laughing a bit, I heard her laugh as well as she flew away. Stormfly is a great friend to have.

I laid down after warming up the ground and thought to myself.

It would be risky to try and go out, but last time it was amazing. The view, the other dragons, just everything. Luna. ...Why did I just randomly think about Luna again..? Okay focus Toothless, the outside world. ...I wonder if Luna has ever gone out of the Hidden World.

It was clear I wasn't going to get Luna out of my head, so I accepted my cruel fate.

I don't remember ever hearing or seeing any royal member of the Hidden World ever actually leave. I'm guessing it's some type of rule to keep them safe. Luna is my age though, I'm sure she wants adventure just as much as I do, so what if I invited her...? It'd also give me a chance to get closer to that beautiful dragon..

I immediately froze and blushed again. I bury my face into my arms, more embarrassed then before.
