And that’s how I find myself in the back of a limousine driving back to the place I vowed to never return to again.

And the place looks exactly as I remembered. And that scares me.

The brick wall covering the place and castle feel you get from it, the crazy amount of windows all over the top floor.

They just, ugh, scare me.

“Alex?”

I’m snapped out of my thoughts and realize that both Hayleigh and my grandma are already out of the car and waiting for me to get out too. I quickly open the car door and step out.

We all walk to the front door and open it and inside is-

“Alina!” Hayleigh chrouches down to her level and they both embrace. Grandma joins in too but I decide that it’s probably best if I stay out of this.

Once they’re done Alina notices that I’m there and I cower in the corner a little. I look down at the floor in guilt and suddenly I feel something, or should I say someone wrap around my legs

I look down and see little Alina hugging me.

"Hey Raindrop." She says in a small voice.

I look over at Hayleigh and see her gesturing for me to hug her back and a thumbs up. But the best I can do is pat Alina on the shoulder and say "Hey Sunshine" but feel a little bad when a now dejected Alina walks back over to Hayleigh.

“Alina,” She whispers and I try my best to pretend that I’m not listening when I actually am, “tú lo sabes ella no se siente cómoda con nosotros. pero está bien, le gustaremos de nuevo... algún día.

“Si.” I hear Alina whisper back in a sad tone. “Algún día.” She looks down at the floor and abuela puts her hand on her shoulder.

“Ser paciente. Ella es una buena persona. Sé que lo es.” This time she glances over at me to see if I’m looking at them but they’ve forgotten the fact that I’m an excellent eavesdropper. “Especially when we take her back down the memory lane.” She looks at us now and announces that she has some political meeting to go to and walks out the door.
