Chapter - 21

Gul was going through her emails when a proposal came that seemed too good to be true.

Yuri stuck his head in her office, "Did you get the same email that I just did? Seems too good to be true but I checked with the sponsor. It's legit."

She wasn't as convinced, "Not that Eda isn't good enough for this opportunity but lately there has been so much odd stuff swirling around her that I want to be super careful. After Aganou and the phony perfume deal. I don't know."

"Do what you need to do Gul and let me know. They want Serkan to shoot it. The sponsor wants to recreate the energy that the two had in Dubai," then he started to laugh, "That was child's play compared to how they work together now. You know I got a look at some of the wedding shots. We were kind of kidding about them doing a shoot together but damn it would be good."

"Right? He won't do it though. He doesn't want to be in front of the camera. Eda might be able to convince him but otherwise the man is a definite no. . . . . back to this offer. Before we say yes I'll do some investigation and let you know what I find out."

After her dad left the office Gul got down to doing her research. Eight calls and a dozen emails with trusted colleague the offer was confirmed as legitimate. Gul called the sponsor back to get more information. Porsche Türkiye did want Eda to be their brand ambassador for the next year and they wanted Serkan to shoot the promotional photos. There was a video and commercial advertisement to accompany the shoot. Eda hadn't done a lot of commercial work before but Gul thought that she could handle it.

Gul stuck her head into Zuri's office, "You're right it's legit. They want them on site next week. I know Serkan has off for a bit will he be okay with this?"

Zuri laughed, "Of course he will. He told me that anytime he was asked to shoot Eda it took priority. We can get them booked and move forward. He's going to need a bigger team so Serkan will need to start gathering it."

"Go ahead and call them now, since we're both here we can put them on speaker and share the news."

Serkan looked at the incoming call, he was tempted to let Zuri go to voicemail because he and Eda were busily working on piecing together some of her destroyed artwork. It was turning into a spectacular kaleidoscope of colors. Eda had taken some of the smaller pieces and fashioned them into a rainbow. The overall effect was stunning and both hated to admit better than the originals. Eda had sent Mehmet over at the gallery photos to get his opinion, but he insisted that he come over and look at them in person. They were expecting him shortly so he really didn't have time for Zuri.

"Zuri, you know I have time off so I'm not sure why you're calling."

"Yeah, yeah Serkan, put me on speaker so that Eda can hear. Gul wanted to talk to her. You said I could interrupt you for joint work and this is joint work."

Eda walked over to Serkan and sat on his lap while he put the phone on speaker and set it on the table. Gul's excited voice came over the phone, "Eda we just got a great offer. Your first brand ambassador role and it's legit. I spent all morning calling around to make sure. I've talked to the brand already, as of today you'll be the new face of Porsche Türkiye. There are print and video ads and you'll have a car for the year. They want Serkan to shoot the print ads they have another team for the video and commercial ads. All of this is next week, you'll be in Izmir."

She was stunned, "Are you sure that they want me?"

"Weren't you listening Eda? Yes you. They wanted a new face and the head of PR was a big fan of your Dubai shoot. You can pick your own hair and makeup people too so I already booked Ari and Metin."
