I went on with the rest of my day with Ethan on my mind. The school day was now over and I found myself in the bathroom with Ava, touching up our makeup.

I looked in the mirror at myself and suddenly touched the back of my head " It still hurts" I said out loud. "Well, it was worth it because Ethan is completely 150 pounds of fine," Ava said as she winked at me.I looked at her as if to say calm down.

I ignored her thinking that Ethan Banks is hot. I mean he's not bad but he's a jock. I felt a vibration in my left pocket and pulled my phone out to see if the caller was who I hoped it wasn't. I was out of luck, it was Zach. I gave Ava a look and she knew.

I answered with my hands shaking " Hello?" I muttered. " WHY DID YOU TELL YOUR MOM I HIT YOU? ARE YOU A BABY? YOU'RE EIGHTEEN FOR GOD'S SAKE DAKOTA" I was caught off guard and I stood there in disbelief. "I-I'm sorry" I stuttered. "YOU BETTER BE! I'M GOING OVER THERE" I tensed up and got scared. I hung up and sobbed loudly.

Ava took my hand as we rushed to my car to hopefully drive away before he got here. It was too late. I saw his pickup drive up to us he got out and slammed the door "DO YOU WANT ME TO GO TO JAIL?" I sobbed louder than before and looked at Ava to help me. She was already on it "WELL DID YOU DO SOMETHING ILLEGAL?Ava snapped back. Suddenly there was a hand on Zach's shoulder and a guy much taller than him looked down at him LITERALLY.

"Back away from Dakota man" Ethan suggested. "This is my girlfriend! Mind your business" Zach said. "Bro you have like two seconds before this gets messy," Ethan said. "You wanna bet?" Zach replied.

Well Ethan was serious I expected my boyfriend who was twenty to be able to top an eighteen-year-old but no. Zach was getting beat up badly. I was in shock and I let it unfold in front of me.

Ava on the other hand was staring at Ethan and not in shock, she was so desperate for this guy I mean seriously desperate. I suddenly let my instincts kick in "STOP" I shouted. This was way too much,

In a couple of minutes I was being held by ETHAN BANKS, and my boyfriend was being taken away in an ambulance. Ava and I both lied to the police saying that Zach hit him first so that Ethan wouldn't get in trouble.

Ethan was still hugging me when my dad walked out of the school. "Dad!" I shouted. He walked over to us and finally said something " You wanna keep holding my daughter Banks or let me talk to her?" Ethan let me go, embarrassed. I hugged my dad before backing away shyly.

" I want to file a police report, Dad." He looked at me questioningly. I answered the question he didn't need to ask "Zach hit me, Dad" My dad looked angry and clenched his jaw in outrage. Ethan spoke up " I know I was irresponsible Coach but she was wasting her time on him so yeah I hit him"

My dad looked angry but as soon I turned my back he gave Ethan a high five and was happy that Ethan hit him. My dad was kinda protective and he was happy Ethan did before he did and went to jail for it.

We went to the hospital and I broke up with Zach. I was angry with Ethan but not too angry and looking up at him now, he was kinda attractive. Maybe I can get closer to him. Jocks aren't too bad.
