I pulled up to the house.

My day had gone completely rogue at the hands of Griffin.

Griffin was not a Banks, my mom had made him one legally by changing his last name before transferring here.

Though,

He was nowhere on my level, or my sisters.

Banks do not go crazy like that. Especially on our own family.

I stepped into my house and wandered into the kitchen. I wanted to get right back into my car after seeing who was there.

Griffin was leaning over the island talking to Jen.

Jenny doesn't like him too much either but we're blood so she plays nice.

"Ethan!"

She rushed over to hug me.

"Did you win?"

She had a glass of wine in her hand that she sipped every now and then.

She wasn't legally allowed to drink but she was only a year away so she did it anyway.

"Of course I did"

I glanced over at Griffin and decided to make him angry.

"Coco came, she was worried for me but she stayed the whole way through. She's enjoyed football girlfriend life."

She chuckled and talked to me about my game.

Griffin was visibly annoyed and went to go up the stairs to his room.

"Don't you want stay and talk to the sibling squad?"

I threw my arm around Jen and the other was in my pocket.

A sly smirk was plastered on my face seeing him bothered.

"Nah, you're too much like your dad"

"Careful there, talking about my father's what got you beat up Griff"

He still had a few bruises on his face but the biggest problem was his broken nose.

He rolled his eyes.

"Aw, thought it was because of your plaything, no?"

Did he address my Dakota as a plaything? He couldn't have. He values his life.

"Excuse me?"

"Your toy for the week, Coco, as you call her."

I took my arm off Jen and took a step closer to Griffin.

"My girlfriend is a goddess, you will not address her as anything other than her name. Unless you want to have a problem"

"You're right, she's hot. When you toss her aside like you do to every other girl, I'll be there."

He gave me a wink to make me angry. It did.

I went to hit him but Jen grabbed my arm.

"Griffin, if you want to stay in this household then play nice and stop being a jerk to my brother"

He had nerve to step to me when I'm stronger and older.

After chatting with Jen I went up to my room too.

I sent Coco a good night text and got ready for bed. I sat in my bed and responded to a couple texts.

I finally drifted to sleep.

I woke up and went downstairs for a smoothie.

It was Wednesday and Mom is known for her Wednesday smoothies.
