I stayed up thinking of Dakota. The way I held her even though I was practically a giant compared to her.
She looked up at me and smiled and made my heart flutter. She was the type of girl that guys wanted to introduce to their parents and I was the type of guy you wanted to curse out for breaking your heart.
I'm not a player but I've led a couple of girls on. I didn't know of course! I'm just too charming and the ladies think I want to be their husband and have three kids with them.
Dakota was a volleyball setter and she was amazing, not only at volleyball but everything about her wanted to made me give my life up and elope.
We weren't friends let alone lovers but maybe we could have something. I looked at the clock and realized it was seven and I better start to get ready.
I threw on sweatpants and a shirt that hung loosely over my body and took a bottle from the cupboard that I filled with a smoothie my mom had made me. My family was a role model to everyone in town.
My mom was a dirty blonde with hazel eyes and she was pretty which made any other mom want to be like her. My dad was a doctor and he was brunette with brown eyes that made every mom want him. He was where I got my height from. My sister, Jen was brunette with hazel eyes like me and she was kind to everyone around her.
Though even with all of this perfection my parents were falling apart and Jen had a huge breakdown because of it. She left the house and went to college in France.
I threw on headphones and Jordans before walking out of the door. I unlocked my Mercedes-Benz and slid into the driver's seat putting my cup in its holder. I drove to school and arrived on time.
I glanced over and saw Dakota walk in with her ginger friend. I felt a hand on my arm and turned away from Dakota. "Babe!" It was Cora of course. I know I said I can't date but me and Cora have nothing.
I spent one night with her and a couple of mutual friends and I got drunk. I kissed her and we've been dating since. I didn't know we were dating but in her mind we were. I gently shoved her off and sighed.
"Cor, I think we need to take a break" A break from what? I never even dated the girl. Man, I'm dumb. "What?" I watched as her world broke. Those four days were the best of her life.
I saw Dakota at her locker and I left Cora to her thoughts. "Hey," I said. She jumped and turn around. I picked her up and threw her over my shoulder. Her friend looked at me shocked. "excuse us a second" I told her friend.
Coco hit my back repeatedly in retaliation before giving up and crossing her arms. Coco was the nickname I gave her. I took the ko from Dakota and repeated it with a C. I put her down in a secluded place by the cafeteria.
"Hi Coco," I smiled when I saw her face "COCO?" she boomed. "I'm sorry, I know you wanted to hang out with your friend but we need to talk," I said ignoring her annoyance at the name I gave her.
She rolled her eyes and look at me to see if I was going to start. "I want to know more about you, you're on my mind every second of the day, and it makes me interested in you" I shocked myself with that one too, don't worry.
Her jaw dropped and she took a second before smiling at me. I picked her up and she squealed and then threw her arms around my neck. "Let's set a date," she said. I was about to explode with happiness and then I took her back to her friend.
We definitely broke necks. People did backbends to catch a peak. I would too I mean we looked like a couple. It made me happy but Coco was a little more shy so it might've made her nervous. I set her down and winked "Friday?" I asked "Friday" she repeated
