It was Tuesday and I was in math class, Dakota was in my AP calculus class.

I now know I get to see her at least once every day. My mind was solely on her face. I couldn't believe it. I'm having problems with myself and yet I wanted to date.

I wasn't going to give her up though, maybe just take things a little slower. I didn't want Dakota to be with anyone else.

I realized I was dozing off when everyone was looking at me and I had ignored the teacher's question.

"What?" I said confused

"Pay attention, Mr.Banks!"

Yeah yeah whatever. She's just mad because she wanted to be a model and was left here at some stupid high school.

I looked back at Coco and saw her talking to Layla. She had three friends and that was it. She didn't like a big crowd and those girls were her everything.

I may have only had a friend group of four but I also spent time with my football team and other people who admired me.

I didn't know if I could take her around my friends. They were all idiots and she was the epitome of perfection.

I looked back at my book and tried to concentrate. Math was third period and we had four classes in a day with a different class from Monday to Tuesday. I won't bother you with our class schedule though.

The bell rang and I walked to my locker to meet up with the guys.

"Banks!" Javon shouted

I put my stuff away and joined the guys.

"Hey guys" I wondered what they were talking about.

"Ethan you know that girl you hit in the back of the head with a football? My sister's best friend?" Javon said

He was trying to get on my nerves but I played along "Oh yeah! I do"

"Well Liam thinks she's hot and wants to take her out" Javon continued

I love my friends and I would do anything for them. They were my brothers. I couldn't stop myself though. She mattered more at the moment.

I hit Liam

"BRO! CALM DOWN"

Austin was holding me back while Javon checked on Liam.

" What the heck bro?" Austin said while taking me away from the situation

"I don't know what came over me.." "Coco is my everything and I just met her. It was wrong, I know. Liam always has my back"

I left Austin and he went back to help Liam too. Coco chose study hall last period so she had left already. She stayed in study hall yesterday but I guess she just wanted to leave today.

I wanted to skip the rest of school and just spend time with her but I had football practice right after school and I didn't want to miss that.

I went through the rest of my last period and then went to the locker room to change into my practice clothes.

I apologized to Liam before we started stretching. The practice was pretty basic since it was the first day of practice for the year. I'd played football since fifth grade and I had worked my way here.

I was distracted mostly through practice until she sat in the stands. "Coco" I whispered. She made me smile quicker than anyone else could. She might have been here for her dad but I like to think it was for me.

After practice, I hit the shower before changing and walking back outside. I slung my bag over my shoulder and said bye to my teammates and friends.

I walked outside and saw her waiting. I didn't know who she was here for but I picked her up and spun her around anyway.

She squealed and I put her down. "You scared me, Ethan!" She may have been scolding me but I knew she wasn't mad at me.

"Waiting for Coach?" I asked. "No, I wanted to see you!" she made me smile so easily.

"I guess you don't throw too bad" "I would hope so, I've trained half my life to make it into the NFL, What do you wanna be Coco?" she thought for a second and then looked at me "An author"

I don't know why that made me so happy but knowing one more thing about her made me crazy.

I hugged her and she started to walk to her car. "Coco wait!" she looked back at me as I jogged up to her "Can I have your number?" I asked nervously

No girls made me nervous but she did. She put her name on my phone under Coco which made me happy. I watched her drive off before getting into my car. I turned on the radio and had a peaceful ride home.
