Uturu was an uncommon tradition within Pandora. Though, it does happen, it was not common families are refugees seeking sanctuary. "We seek Uturu!" Jake announced. Ronal began to communicate with Tonowari through her expressions, something she found fond with her parents.

"Uturu?" Ronal asked them all in shock. "Yes. A sanctuary for my family..." His family was large and if it wasn't for that little girl, Maleia wouldn't know how to respond to them. Ronal began to circle and examine the divergent features of the Omatikaya, Maleia's feet were quick to follow her Mother.

But what Maleia didn't contribute to was pulling at their tails, noticing how strange they looked compared to their own. Their tails too small to swim expertly like herself. "Their arms are thin... Their tales are weak. You will be slow in the water," Ronal explained to them all, grabbing their bodies. Maleia reached her palm out to touch one of their shoulders, a teenage girl who had detested at Ronal for grabbing at her tail.

However, the detests didn't seem to be strong enough when Ronal grabbed her hand. Ronal pinched her thin wrists between her fingers, "These children are not even true Na'vi!" The tone of Ronal's disapproval coursing through their entire bodies.

Ronal then moved towards him. The one who had seemed to capture Maleia's attention. Ronal grasped his hand and held it up to the clan bordering them, "They have demon blood!" Demon blood? Maleia noticed as Lo'ak moved his head away in shame. Shame of having those genetics from his dad.

"Mom..." Maleia whispered to her Mother, attempting to capture her attention onto something other than their fingers. Ronal dragged Lo'ak's hand, letting out a small hiss of disgust and dissatisfaction afterwards.

That was when Maleia stopped following her Mother and stood next to Lo'ak. Without asking, she took his hand into her palm and began to soothe over the sore spot that Ronal had roughly grabbed without hesitation. Lo'ak kept his gaze on her, attempting to hide the smile that tried to show on his face.

"Look... Look! I was born to the Sky-people and now I am Na'vi. You can adapt. We will adapt!" Jake showed his four-fingered hand to take the attention from his children.

"My husband was Toruk Makto," Neytiri announced before taking a step, "He led the clans to great victory against the Sky-people." She was proud to tell them her husbands victory as all Na'vi have heard of Toruk Makto. But, Jake seemed to disapprove of her words as his face scrunched up.

"This is what you call victory? Hiding amongst strangers! It seems Eywa has turned her back on you. Chosen one..." Ronal had no remorse for the family. She knew of the Sully's, knew their family meant nothing but trouble and war. And she didn't want war.

Maleia let go of Lo'ak's wrist, moving back towards her siblings. Ao'nung pushed her behind him to block Lo'ak's view.

Neytiri hissed at Ronal causing Ronal to his back at the citrus action. "I apologise for my mate— She's flown a long way and she's exhausted," Jake began to tell Ronal even when she tried to interrupt him. Ronal moved to stand next to her husband again.

Maleia stood on her toes as she tried to peek over her brother, "Ao'nung!" Her tail flicked to hit the back of his legs, Ao'nung hissed before turning around to his sister. Realising she had squeezed her way past him.

"Toruk Makto is a Great War leader! All Na'vi people know his stories. But, we Metkayina are not at war. We cannot let you bring your war here..." Tonowari shouted to his entire clan. War. Maleia's head twisted at the sound of the war. All such young children had been caught in the crossfire of war? Immediate despair filled her entire face as she wanted nothing but safety for them.

"I'm done with war. I just wanna keep my family safe..." Jake replied before picking Tuk up into his arms, hand resting against her small head to keep her ears shut from the conversation. "Uturu has been asked," Neytiri finished the conversation.

Ronal and Tonowari began to share expressions again. Maleia could read some of them, this was a usual technique they used to convey with one another.

"Toruk Makto and his family will stay with us. Treat them as our brothers and sisters! Now, they do not know the sea, so, they will be like babies taking their first breath. Teach them our ways so they do not suffer the shame of being useless," Tonowari said. Maleia's face burst into a smile, a family riddled with war can now find safety. Jake eluded his family to say their thanks.

"My son, Ao'nung. My daughters, Maleia and Tsireya will show your children what to do," Tonowari told them as he pointed to his three children. Ao'nung stepped forwards to detest but his father silenced him immediately.

Maleia kept her sight on the Sully children. Greeting her eyes with him in particular, watching as his pupils dilated, "Come. I will show you our village."
