"Will you join us today, tsmuke?" Questioned Tsireya. Maleia looked up at her sister, fingertips covered in seashells and beaded accessories to wear. Choosing what to wear felt like a hard decision for her. In water, Maleia didn't like to wear her finest clothing because she was scared that harsh ripples would break the hard work. She would save them for feasts and celebrations that would take place in the evening.

Teaching diving seemed like hard work for Na'vi that hasn't been near large amounts of deep water such as the ocean. And could possibly ruin her prettiest accessories.

"Father has decided so," Maleia replied, placing the cutest top down and settling for one not so pretty. Tsireya smiled when Maleia sat down in front of her. Maleia and Tsireya were the complete opposite.

Tsireya liked to wear her finest accessories and loincloths— hair long and curly. Whereas, Maleia felt she didn't have much to impress beside her parents.

Tsireya's fingers ran through Maleia's locks, breaking up some of the salt-crusted curls, separating half of it with a seashell clip that Ronal had gifted Maleia. "I like doing your hair. It is much easier," Tsireya mentioned, noticing the length difference.

Most Metkayina women had their hair long. But, Maleia liked it short. She felt as if the shorter, the more it kept out of her face within the water. "But... You can style yours in so many different ways," Maleia mentioned, looking at her sisters long hair.

"Come! They are waiting," Ao'nung shouted at them both. A small hiss on the word they. He hadn't taken much of a liking to the Sully family since they had arrived.

Maleia narrowed her eyes at him, making sure to punch his stomach with her elbow as she walked past him.

Her brother was a hard cookie to crack, but once someone did, he was the sweetest.

"Hello..." Maleia intruded on the conversation. She watched as Neteyam crashed his elbow within Lo'ak's stomach. Lo'ak turned his head up with a confused expression before stuttering when he saw Maleia. He hoped that she didn't hear his sentence finishing before interrupting. "Hi," Lo'ak replied with a smile. Neteyam turned to his brother, shooting him a look.

He watched from behind as Maleia walked to the end of the netting, jumping straight within the water. A couple of splashes later, and the rest of them emerged also.

Their eyes scanned under the water, admiring the serene scene surrounding them. Hidden beauty behind blue sea. Multiple colours and aquatic life. Maleia swam into a school of fish, guiding them with her fingertips before allowing them to swim back in their peaceful formation.

"Come on!" Ao'nung despised swimming with Maleia. As much as he adored his little sister, she could get distracted. Maleia rolled her eyes before swimming with them.

And when she spun around in the water, Maleia noticed that the Sully children had gone to the surface. Maleia watched as Lo'ak dipped his head beneath the water. "Swim together with us," Tsireya signed.

He shrugged before landing back under the water, and swimming with the four of them. Maleia smiled as she twisted around an animal, bubbles floating to the surface as she laughed when the animal tickled her skin. Under the water was her favourite. It was collected and calm. Full of beautiful animals and bright coral. "What's wrong with them?" Aonung asked with his fingers.

Maleia stared at her brother before their closest friend Rotxo swam forwards, "They are bad divers." Tsireya frowned and placed her hand atop of Rotxo's chest, "Stop! They are learning!" Maleia nodded her head in agreement, smacking her brother on the head before pointing a warning figure at him.

"You would be the same in the forest..." Maleia warned him before deciding to swim to the surface to join the Omatikaya. However, when reached the surface, Maleia could feel Lo'ak's sight burning into her.

She could feel her cheeks begin to flush beneath the sun. "Are you all right?" Tsireya asked them all. Tuk complained as she rubbed her stinging eyes, "You're too fast! Wait for us." Maleia's face twisted into admiration for the young girl as Tsireya reminded them to breathe.

"You are not good divers. Maybe good at swinging through trees..." Ao'nung began to speak before Tsireya also slapped his head. Rotxo's chuckles cutting short.

"C'mon, bro. We don't speak this finger talk. We don't know what you're saying!" Neteyam reminded them, moving his fingers confusingly to remind them. Maleia nodded her head, adding it to the long list that the children would have to teach them, "Then you will be taught. It is not easy being beginners in a new world."

Lo'ak looked over at her— she understood them. A small smile graced his expression, turning his head back when he watched Maleia begin to twist her body around.

"Where is Kiri?" Rotxo asked, concerned for the missing Sully sibling. "Who?" Ao'nung questioned which earned another deathly state from Maleia, "Skxawng."
