Today was a big day. Lana had gotten nominated to win an Alma Award and because of that, you both were busy getting dressed for the big night.

You caught a glance of her through the mirror, watching as she put on a red lip making you smile. You turned around before walking over to her where you wrapped your arms around her waist from behind.

"You look absolutely gorgeous" you said into her ear before kissing her shoulder, afterwards zipping up her black tight dress on the back.
She smiled into the mirror, your eyes locking before she turned around. "Thank you sweetie" she said kissing your cheek.

"Should we get going?" You asked and she nodded, already on her way towards the bedroom door to leave and walk down the stairs. You of course followed her and when the two of you reached the bottom of the stairs you slapped her booty quickly, jumping aside so she wouldn't be able to slap back making both of you smirk. You couldn't resist though when she was wearing that tight long perfectly fitting black dress.

"Get your purse and then we'll go" you said before she grabbed it from the tabletop, following you outside where you both got into the uber you had had ordered earlier, before getting buckled up. You both sat in the backseats, her hand quickly finding yours before you smiled at her.
"It's gonna be a great night no matter what okay" you said, knowing she was wondering about her nomination and what she would do if she didn't win it, but also if she did.

She nodded, knowing you were right.
"I'm just, nervous.." she said playing with your finger ring. You placed your other hand onto your laced fingers, a comforting smile on your lips when your eyes met.
"It's gonna be great" you eventually said, the rest of the car ride silent as she found peace in your statement.

When you arrived you got out of the Uber and went in line, getting in fast since you were invited in advance. When you got in it was overwhelming as it always was at such events. The two of you mingled your way through the big crowd of people, Lana leading the way while your hands never parted.

Soon you both realized you had reached the red carpet with many many journalists taking pictures and doing interviews. It wasn't really your favorite thing, but you always did it for your girl anyway. Right when you were about to walk over there, a red-head got in your way, Bex smiling bright at you both.

"Oh there you are" Lana said since the two of you had been trying to look for her. Bex wasn't nominated, but Lana had chosen you and her for her two invites she was allowed to have. You greeted Bex with a hug before you all three stepped onto the carpet. White flashes immediately appeared as you heard Lana and Bex's names being yelled from twenty different directions. Lana was just smiling, your pinkies connected so no one were able to part you from each other.

"Lana over here!" Another one yelled making her look in his direction. Soon pictures were done and luckily for you and Lana, only one had asked for an interview with her making you get through quickly. Finally you were done with all the practical stuff and you could now find your seats where the rest of the night would take place from.

"Is there enough space for you love?" She asked as she moved her purse to the other side of her to make more space for you, her carefree gesture warming your heart. She was always so thoughtful and it was something you really admired.

People were, after a long time, starting to take their seats as well. Bex was sitting at the other side of Lana, making you all three sit at the same line. The host soon got on stage and the event and nominations had started. In the little folder that had been on every chair in the room, there was a time schedule and you could see Lana's nomination was in the last bit. You therefore leaned back, taking her hand while both of you enjoyed the show.
