The whistling wind and cool air was caressing your cheek when you were laying on the garden swing. You had been crying and your cheeks were covered with crying marks, the pillow you were embracing completely wet from tears. It was raining. Heavy rain drops falling to the ground, but the half roof was your friend in this situation, keeping you dry.

You kept replaying the things Lana, but also you had said earlier when words had been thrown through the room, both of you not meaning a single thing. You sighed, sniffling again as your body was trembling because of the cold.

Regret was what filled you most. You hated yourself for saying stuff to her that's far from the truth just because you were frustrated. You were scared that she was mad at you and that she hated you. But how could you blame her?

"Y/n baby...?" A quiet, just above a whisper, voice asked and you froze. You gathered the courage to turn slightly, carefully rolling over to meet her dark, but comforting eyes staring at you.

"I can't sleep knowing you're out here" she admitted, looking down at her hands where she was playing with her rings. She looked like a scared little girl and you slapped yourself internally. She was probably scared you were mad at her and now when you saw yourself from the outside, you understood her. It looked like you would rather be laying outside than inside with her and again you cursed yourself.
God damn it you had screwed up while just trying to give her some space.

You got snapped out of your thoughts, realizing she was still just standing there, arms crossed over her front as she was obviously freezing.

You sighed under your breath, slowly and tiredly getting up from the swing, standing on your feet before you followed her inside, no words shared on the way to your bedroom.

Once you entered your shared bedroom you immediately crawled under the covers, turning your back to Lana's side since you didn't know if she was still mad at you. She did as well, probably fearing the same as you. You laid there for a while, thinking she was asleep just until you heard her step out of the bed, walking towards the bathroom. You sighed, closing your eyes as a tear escaped your eye. This was a devastating feeling that couldn't be compared to any other.

Suddenly you awoke, confused as to where you were before realizing you apparently had fallen asleep. You heard the door creak open and a beam of light from the hall appeared before the door closed and it was dark again. You couldn't see her but you could hear her, changing clothes and drying her hair. The sounds behind you became louder, and you figured she was making her way towards you.
You immediately closed your eyes, acting like you were still sleeping as weight was put onto the bed. A few seconds went by and even though you hadn't counted on it, you had hoped she would've made some contact.

You sighed silently before giving up, thinking it would be best to just fall asleep because what other choice did you have.

Suddenly you felt a hand on your hip and before you could think further, also an arm snaking around your waist, pulling you backwards. You smiled, still with your eyes closed trying to act as if you were sleeping.

A delicate kiss was planted on your bare shoulder, goosebumps appearing immediately, making Lana realize you definitely were awake.

"I'm sorry y/n" she said, and you immediately felt a feeling of guilt wash over you. You turned around quicker than expected before looking at her intensely.

"No I'm sorry. I should've never said any of the things I said cause I didn't mean one single word I swear. I regretted it immediately and I hate myself for even throwing them at you. Can you forgive me?" You asked, and she smiled, hard for you to see because of the dark but you still got a glimpse of her white teeth.

"Of course I can" she said before tracing her fingers over your arm. She looked down onto the mattress, lowering her head before speaking
"Can you forgive me?"

Your heart warmed and you cupped her cheeks with your hands, lifting her head up. "Of course I can baby" you said before leaning in to kiss her soft longing lips that kissed you back right away. You inhaled sharply, the smell of vanilla immediately reaching your nostrils making you hum.

"Your hair smells so good" you said when you pulled apart, your hands all tangled into it and she smiled, chuckling.

"Thank you love" she said, giving you a last quick kiss before you rested your head under her chin.

"This will never happen again right?" You asked, feeling her arms wrapped around you in a comforting way before she sighed.

"Unfortunately it probably will but I do know that it will never lead to more than what happened today" she said, and you smiled, her words true and beautiful.

"I love you"
