Love to love you

Having a girlfriend who's an actress and have to work late mostly everyday, wasn't always easy. Especially not when your own job wouldn't be longer than till in the middle of the afternoon. That meant a lot of time alone, missing your person.

You had decided to grab a shower this evening since you had taken Lola to the beach in the afternoon, needing to wash off any extra sand that the garden hose hadn't been able to take. Lana was still not home and she had texted you earlier to let you know they would go over time again. You didn't blame her, first of all because she had no say in any of the production anyway, and second of all because you knew she hated being apart as much as you did.

You were in the middle of rinsing your hair from shampoo when you heard someone walk outside the bathroom door.

"Y/n where are you?!" Lana's voice echoed through the hallway and you smiled, glad that she was finally home.

"In the shower!" You hurried to answer, before you heard the door swing open, the glass wall of the shower still separating the two of you.

"May I join you?" She asked. "We did  a lot of physical scenes over and over again today I feel disgusting"

You smiled to yourself, letting out a hum to let her know her suggestion suited you just fine.

You could see how her clothes dropped to the floor through the foggy glass, and a pure wave of love went right through your core. How did you ever get so lucky, was something you often wondered about, but in this moment the feeling was much more overwhelming than usual. She was perfect, not only physically appealing, but her soul and heart were the most genuine and delicate things you had ever witnessed.

"What's taking you so long?" You asked, getting even more eager to be with her by every second that passed. "I have to get all my jewellery off" she chuckled.

When she stepped in, a big grin was on her face, she had definitely missed you as well.

"Good day at work?" You asked her when she stepped closer to you and wrapped her arms around your waist, brining you closer to her body.

"Yeah, just long"

The hot water was running down both of you and you took a second to close your eyes and inhale deeply, melting in her embrace.

"I've missed you" you muttered out, opening your eyes to meet her soft caring ones. Her lips fell to your forehead as you placed your head against her shoulder softly.

"You're okay my love?" She questioned.

You hummed. "Hmm, you're exactly what I need after a bad day"

She pulled herself back a little to get a glimpse of your face. "Bad day?" She asked as her brows furrowed. You nodded slightly and she cradled your head on her shoulder again, letting the water rinse off today's stress and exhaustion from both of you.

"Let me wash your hair" you suddenly said, lifting your head from her skin, and she gave you a skeptic smile. "I just washed it yesterday"

"Please"

Lana gave you a coy smile before she gave in and turned around. "Only because it's you" she muttered out, flinching slightly when she felt the cold shampoo on her scalp as a contradiction to the hot water running over her skin.

You started massaging her scalp lightly, your fingers stroking through her hair as you gained satisfied hums and moans from your significant other. "Y/n-" she said, a soft cough following her words as she must've choked on her own saliva, and you pulled her to your embrace.

"You okay my love?" You asked, kissing the back of her shoulder feeling how her back relaxed against your front. The smell of the shampoo entered your nostrils and it sent you right back to your cuddly nights and mornings in bed, you snuggled up against her with your face buried in her beautiful brown hair.

"Yes... I just wanted to ask if you could put conditioner in as well" she said, and you chuckled softly, lifting up her hair to kiss the back of her neck. "Of course I can"

You washed her hair with gentleness, making sure she felt relaxed and comfortable after a long day at set.

"Turn around" she said when the two of you had just pulled away from a heated kiss. You frowned but obliged, wanting to do anything she told you to. You then felt her hands on your shoulders, before she started massaging your skin, loosening up your tense muscles. You groaned slightly as a deep exhale left you. Her hands were doing wonders to your skin and you couldn't help but melt into her hands.

"Mhmm that feels so nice" you told her pursing your lips together as you tilted your head to the side, feeling her hands move up your neck.

"Want me to wash your hair?" She asked and you hummed, Lana gathering the shampoo in your hair, massaging your scalp gently.

After a long and calm shower the two of you stepped out, hand in hand all giggly and bubbly.

"Can you help me?" You asked as you were struggling to get on your robe, Lana helping you before turning you around to tie it in the front.

"Like that" she said as she leaned in to give you a quick kiss. You smiled when she turned around to get her own on as well, a brief moment where you caught yourself daydreaming about her.

"Baby?" She asked, kicking you out of your thoughts.

"Mhm?"

"You wanna watch a movie in the bedroom?" She asked you while looking at you with her brown big eyes filled with love for you.

You nodded and took her hand, letting her guide you to your shared bedroom, before you cuddled up on the bed. You let Lana choose a movie while you buried your face in the crook of her neck, placing soft kisses on her skin.

When you heard the movie turn on, you pulled your head back and readjusted your position so you could see the tv.
The scent of her newly washed hair flooded over you and you couldn't help, but feel warm inside. This was the life you wanted to live, and you would do anything to make sure the two of you would have endless of nights like these, cuddled up in each others embrace, sharing kisses here and there. You placed your head on her chest, Lana's hand immediately finding it's way to your hair to stroke through it, before your legs entangled. This was it.
