Lana x y/n one shots

New years kiss

This is kinda bad but I felt like I had to publish something after how long it's been.

This year it was Lana's turn in her group of people she always celebrated new years with, to host. You and her had spent all day decorating the house, singing and dancing to music while doing so. This year you were relaxed in contradiction to the other years where you had been nervous to see all of these new faces, but now Lana's friends were starting to become more and more familiar to you.
And so were you to them.

Everybody knew you were Lana's girlfriend. Not to mention younger girlfriend. One of you and Lana's qualities in your relationship was to be open and public, but intimate in private. You didn't shout it from the rooftop that you were together, but everyone knew and that was how you liked it. Both of you thought it was much more precious to keep your love between the two of you where it should be. You had always thought a big reason of break ups and divorce was that people couldn't shut up about every little detail about their relationship, that it eventually didn't feel as special and exciting as it should.

"Babe where did you put the hats?" Lana asked from the living room while you were still decorating the dining table in the kitchen.

"In the black bag by the record player" you yelled back, placing the last glass on the table.

Not long after, the doorbell rang, Lana poking her head into the kitchen to let you know and you gave her a quick nod before she went off to get the door.

You heard a lot of greetings and joyful laughter, making you smile. This was the perfect way for you to end your year.

"Hi Eva" you said when you had reached the foyer, hugging Lana's girl friend before she handed you and Lana a bottle of wine as a hostess gift.

More guests started to arrive and it was now that the mingle for real began. Everybody had taken their husbands and wives with them and as you did a quick scan around the room, you noticed you were definitely the youngest one amongst all of you. Then your eyes fell to Lana, your beautiful breathtaking and unexplainable perfect girl.
Your Lana. You smiled to yourself before another one of her friends kicked you out of your thoughts by talking to you.

"You and Lana really did a good job with this party" he said and you smiled thanking him, before your little small talk turned into the two of you and some other people sitting on the couch talking about everything that came to your mind.

Lola ended up by your feet as she always did when many people surrounded her. She was a happy dog and loved people, but after a while she always ended up becoming tired since she was an old lady.

"You need anything?" You heard someone ask as you felt a pair of hands sliding down from your shoulders to your chest from behind, making you look up to meet Lana's eyes.

"Anything to drink? Or eat?" She whispered in your ear discreetly while the others carried on with the conversation.

"I'm good" you answered her and she smiled, kissing the top of your head before walking to the kitchen to get something for herself.

The night went on and you and Lana hadn't really had much time together since everybody wanted to talk with everybody. At dinner the two of you wasn't even seated together, though you shared a few knowing glances, and small smiles were exchanged between the two of you.

It got later and later while the time of course also got closer and closer to midnight. All the men and husbands had together decided to go out and fire some fireworks, the women left to discuss everything and nothing in the living room. You took this as an opportunity to squeeze down next to Lana, leaning your head on her shoulder immediately as she wrapped her arm around you.

Since you and Lana were the only couple left it quickly became the number one topic.

"So how's everything going with you two?" Eva asked with a smirk, noticing how you and Lana immediately looked at each other, an instant grin appearing on both of your faces and that was confirmation enough for her.

"You moved in yet?" Eva asked further and you nodded, smiling.

"Yes I did, I moved in about a month ago" you replied, thinking about this new life and how you wouldn't trade it for anything.

"You know, I knew having y/n here all the time was what I yearned for, but I never imagined it this perfect" Lana admitted, both to her friends but also you and you couldn't help but blush slightly.

"Well can't say I don't love it either" you admitted, and Lana looked at you with smiley eyes and a grin on her face. She couldn't help herself as she leaned down to capture your lips, your mouths meeting in a sweet kiss.

"You guys are so sweet you have no idea" you heard someone say and you pulled away, realizing how they were all sitting there with heart eyes adoring the love you and Lana didn't know was that obvious. But oh boy it was.

"What about you guys and your husbands out there?" Lana asked, pursing her lips together as she tried to get the spotlight away from the two of you. You chuckled internally by Lana trying to move the focus from the two of you, snuggling closer to her side as you felt her fingers run through your hair.

Everyone began saying at least one bad thing about them as they kept on complaining about their husbands, making you laugh slightly, Lana looking down at you as she chuckled. Even though they all were joking and didn't mean their harsh words, you knew there was some kind of truth behind them, and you were reminded
why you had chosen a woman to spend your life with.

You and Lana snuggled closer together, you playing with her finger rings when all of a sudden everyone looked at the two of you.

"Now that I think about it, isn't it much easier being two women... I mean you don't have to deal with slouchy husbands" someone said, and you chuckled slightly.

"If that's what defines it then yes, we do not have to deal with that at all" you replied. Then the door swung open and you all could hear man talk from the foyer.

"Speak of the devil" Eva commented and you chuckled.

"Hey ladies" they said in unison when they all entered the living room again. "Enjoyed the fireworks?" One of Lana's friends asked, and they all nodded. "Like the boys you are" Eva then said.

"It's getting closer to midnight" Lana reminded and everyone looked at the clock, noticing she was right. It was 11.50 and people started getting up, filling Lanas living room as they got their champagne glasses and confetti ready. You and Lana kept snuggling on the couch though for a few minutes until it really was time to get up. You walked over to Lola, cuddling her on her little bed filled with pillows and blankets making sure she wouldn't be too scared once the clock hit midnight.

Everyone were standing in a crowded circle, including Lana, talking and chatting as they all counted down now. Their slurred voices was what filled your ears and suddenly you heard them all exclaim happy new year and clinking of glasses filled the room. You kissed Lola on the head before standing up, your eyes desperately searching for Lana. Her living room was an average size, but the big amount of people made it hard for you to find her. You tried to mingle through the crowd and suddenly your eyes met. Lana's eyes sparkled up and she desperately mingled through the big and drunk crowd, finally grabbing onto your hand that was reaching out for her. You pulled her towards you and you both smiled at each other before leaning in to give each other a new years kiss. Your arms instinctively wrapped around each other, and after a little sweet and passionate kiss you pulled away, looking each other affectionately in the eyes.

"Happy new year" you smiled leaning your forehead against hers.

Lana smiled as she ran her hands up and down your back in a sweet and affectionate way. "Happy new year my love" she whispered, both of you isolating yourself from the big crowd around you as you just looked into each others eyes deeply, silently wishing for many more new years kisses to come in the future.
