"Lana baby could you stop hysterically cleaning for just a second?" You asked, looking up from your laptop to meet the sight of your stressed out girlfriend.

She sighed deeply, seeming to get some of the stress off her chest even though she kept on cleaning and moving things around.

She had been acting like this the past two hours after getting the thought, that she possibly was going through menopause since her period had been irregular the past months and now hadn't showed up for a month.

"Menopause isn't that bad" you finally spoke up after several moments of silence while Lana kept on her session of hysterical cleaning.

"Yeah I'll tell you that in 20 years" she snapped back, and you rolled your eyes sighing.

"At least sit down!" You said, but it more came out as an order, Lana turning around to look at you. You could see she was about to argue, but then she saw herself from the outside, knowing you were right. She therefore practically threw herself onto the couch next to you, sighing as she pinched the bridge of her nose.

"Hey" you said in a soft voice, carefully removing her hand from her face to take it in your own.

"Think about it on the bright side" you said, and she looked at you narrowing her eyes.

"Now we only have to worry about one period instead of two when we get in the mood" you said with a playful smirk that Lana didn't match when she pulled her hand away from yours.

"Our cycle is the same anyway so it doesn't even matter" she spat out. Your joyful expression faded from your face as you ran out of ideas to get her into a better mood.

"I'm also really hot right now it's probably the hot flashes" she said, panicking slightly.
You placed a hand on hers making her look at you. "It's probably just because you've been hysterically cleaning for the past two hours" you reassured her, giggling internally, but staying serious on the outside.

"Lana it's not even for sure you're going through menopause. You haven't even talked to a doctor yet" you told her, trying to talk some sense into her, but she was determined and in her mind she was already on the verge of death.

"And even if you were" you started when she didn't even flinch at your words and just stared into the open air. "It's part of being a woman"

"But I don't feel like a woman. I will lose my fertility, my appeal, what if I lose my sexual needs oh god y/n this is horrible"

This wasn't like Lana. She was always the responsible and logic thinking in your relationship, but this seemed to really upset her.

Then a thought came to your mind and now it was obvious to you. You felt the need to smirk, but held it back before you spoke up.

"That isn't what this is all about, is it?" You asked and she gave you a look, a look telling you to continue.

"You're afraid I will look at you any different" you said, and you knew you were right when all your statement made her do was swallow hard. You then sighed, closing your laptop and putting it aside before getting in a better position to reach her cheek with your hand.

"You're only more woman and inspiring if you let me watch and witness your developments. I admire you so so much and would only admire you even more on your journey of womanhood" you said, caressing her cheek with love and sincerity.

You watched how her smile grew, and how tears started to form in her eyes. "Oh y/n" she said, placing her own hand on top of the one you had on her cheek, pulling it down so she was able to lean over and kiss you.

"I love you so much" she stated, your foreheads leaning against each other as the two of you sat there, two women loving each other to the fullest. Something many people would never understand, but it was alright. Not all got to understand yet experience the purest love of them all.
