The first thing you knew, you were in a field by a forest,

You were in a dream

Phoenix's dream

And now, you were standing outside of her vision, an illusion in front of her was hiding you from her vision, it was also making her see that she burnt these two people.

You weren't sure who they were but you were guessing that it was her parents.

You tilted your head, smirking...

'Awh~ poor kid.' you laughed to yourself, honestly not feeling a tad bit bad for her.

And the whole 'Nightmare' was really just that. Rev just making terrible hallucinations to make Phoenix even more broken than she already was.

And finally, it was your turn to spook her.

You grind widely as Rev got the hallucination ready for you, just when...

You woke up-

You sat up in your room. it was about 5 am or so so it was a little light outside, you turned to your right to see bloodhound sleeping peacefully.

You sigh and get out of bed, grabbing a fresh pair of clothes and walked over to the bathroom. You turned on the shower and let the warm/cold water run down your skin, one question kept replaying in your head...

'What happened'

You waited for an answer, but nothing happened.

You begin to worry, Revenant isn't answering you...

You shook it away and continued on with your shower.

After a while you turned off the water and stepped out. You dried off and put on your legend uniform, knowing that there was a game today.

And what made it a bit exciting for you... There's a new legend...

You stepped out into the bar area and ordered some breakfast. You sat down and scrolled through your phone, looking up anything about the new legend.

Apparently he's an old man that goes by Ballistic, he's been in the thunderdome games but quit when his best friend died. That's sad, but then he re-entered trying to keep his son out of the games.

Your Internet surfing got interrupted when you heard a pair of metallic footsteps heading down the hall, you perked up to see the simulacrum exiting the hall.

Ash...

Your ears dropped a bit, disappointed that it wasn't who you thought it was.

You nodded at her and turned your attention back to your phone.

You heard her footsteps again, and you were genuinely surprised when she sat right across from you.

The MRVN placed your food on the table and you turned off your phone, you put it in your pocket and picked at your food a bit.

"Pilot?" You smiled at her, recently you did your research of the games and the other legends. Ash so how happened to be a Pilot years ago, not only that, but she used to be one of the legendary Apex Predators. Her backstory sounds really cool to you, such excitement.

"Hmph." Was all you got from her, it kinda sounded like a laugh...

"Quite impressive you knew that, prowler." She says, she sounds... Happy? I don't know.
