In Love with Death (Revenant x reader)

I haven't worked on this in two days i need to hurry up and get this ready.

After re-watching all of the apex season trailers and the stories from the outlands videos, i have decided that all legends play in the match and that there will be only one game per day, but everyday is a different map. oki?

'Its complete chaos'

You and Mirage were crouched, healing behind a rock just outside of Hammond labs, getting shot at by Octane's team, aka Revenant and Caustic. Loba was bleeding out by the door, crawling her way over to you two. When you looked over your shoulder over to her, you saw Revenant walk up behind her as he turned his hand into a dagger. Revenant then drove his hand right through loba's spine and sticking out of her chest, lifting her up into the air until her body went limp, killing her.  

Revenant turned his gaze up from Loba's dead body up to you, looking you dead in the eyes. You shivered and returned to your hiding spot right next to Mirage. "Ok, Loba's dead. Now what?" You asked him. he sat there thinking for a second until he gasped, "I have an idea, you'll need to follow my lead." You nodded, you were still a bit shook after Loba's death. 

Mirage brought out a decoy. Mirage, the real one, scooted back leaving his decoy to take the lead. Mirage and his decoy both looked to you, they guestured you to let them know if it was safe to start. You closed your eyes  and firmly rested your hands on the floor, you let your passive take over. you could feel the vibrations of the footsteps of your opponents. "There's two- no three, footsteps . . . their all headed to us, slowly," you assumed three because  you couldn't feel the vibrations of Revenant's footsteps. on the other hand, you heard the clicks and reloads of six different weapons, "six weapons, they each have two. Their reloading," Mirage's decoy nodded  "Follow my lead." 

"Hold to your fire!" The decoy yelled holding his hands above the rock. He slowly crept up, letting your opponents see him. You popped your head up where they can see you, you wanted to make it look as legit as ever. "What are you doing?" You hissed at the decoy.  "I Just- . . .please, trust me on this," he said back. You skootted back behind the rock and quietly crawled your way over to Mirage, the real one. You two started to slowly creep away until you headed gun shots from behind you. You jerked your head back to see the decoy hiding behind the rock, seemingly unharmed, 'thank the all father for that.' The decoy started to rise again, now starting to yell at them. You watched at the one decoy turned into dozens and all rushed at the opposing team.

"This is our queue," Mirage's crouch turned into a sprint as you followed very closely behind. After a little bit of running you two nearly got to the faze runner when you felt the familiar gaze burning into the back of your head, you were about to warn Mirage until you heard Octane release his jump Pad and launch himself at you two. Octane landed on you and kicked you, launching you forward. You collided into the crates in front of the portal. The collision caused you to dislocate your left shoulder, you growled in pain. You stood up holding your arm, wincing at the pain. 

Octane came running up at you. You turned around, swinging your tail in the process, launching him into the portal. You heard a grenade land at your feet , you look down to see it explode gas, 'father's gas.' You used your right hand to pull your mask over your face, giving you and advantage in the gas. As the gas just started to fade, you looking ahead of you to see the familiar pair of bright golden eyes staring back at you through the fading mist of green. You heard the portal again which alerted you that Octane is coming back. You turned your attention to Octane, who just came out of the portal. You punched him in his gut, knocking the wind out of him. You hit him on the head with your tail, and you grabbed him with your right hand and threw him into Caustic, who was currently fighting Mirage. 

You turn back to Revenant, who was apparently standing three feet away from you.  You reached for your mozambique causing Revenant to grab your hand,  with the weapon still in it, and moved your arm so that the weapon is pointed away from him. He grabbed your dislocated arm and lifted it up, the sudden movements cause you to hiss in pain. Revenant jerked your arm a bit and pushed it back into its place, you growled at the pain but it quickly faded once you realized he put your arm back in place. He let go of you and took a couple steps back as you looked down at your black bandaged hand. you heard a bit if shuffling from in front of you and saw that Revenant turned his hand into a dagger and looked back at you, your eyes widened, you took a sharp breath in and gripped your gun and-

"Get away from my family!" You both turned to see Mirage running at Revenant with one of Octane's  legs in hand, ready to strike at him. You were pretty sure that Revenant also knew that that was one of Mirage's decoys, so without hesitation he drove his hand right through- 

M- Mirage?

The Real one!

Your breath got caught up in your thought, you couldn't breath. You were completly shocked that Mirage pulled a dumbass move like that, you were unsure what to do. As Revenant let Mirage's, now dead, body drop to the floor, you kicked Revenant away from the body and shot at him with your mozambique. you were quick to pull the banner off of Mirage and jump into the portal behind you. Revenant was very eager to follow you but the cries for help from his dyeing teammates made him go over and pick them up.

You came out of the portal somewhere near the estates and the first thing you were greeted with was the fresh stench of blood, though you tried to ignore it the best you could as you dashed to the nearest respawn beacon in between a few buildings in front of you. the closer you went to the buildings, the stronger the scent got. Getting closer also let you hear that there was a team inside looting, you got down to your hands and walked quietly on all fours to the furthest building from the movement. You stopped on the outside of the building and wait there for a little bit, your nerves began to settle down right until you heard a familiar muffled voice speak the words. . .

"All father give me sight"

You froze, but you didn't see the orange rays run over you. 'They're probably looking the other way.' You silently exhaled, trying not to reveal your location. You heard a few people come out from the portal then suddenly all hell breaks loose with gunfire everywhere, you run over to the beacon to realize. 'its already been used.' your heart dropped, you hid behind one of the legs of the beacon and looked through your holographic map, searching for the closest beacon. You found an untouched beacon in the location right next to where you were, you knew that the teams would be busy fighting and that you had time to revive Mirage. You snuck around and reached where the beacon was, but on your way over the gunfire stopped, you had to be quick. You heard some of the speakers say that there was a new kill leader, you didn't bother to look and see who it was because you were too busy getting Mirage back into the game. You made it to the beacon and began the process of respawning Mirage until you inhaled the thick scent of rust, or what you knew it as, blood.

you were almost done with respawning him until you felt the barrel of a gun plased firmly on the back of your head. Your heart dropped, you were too scared to turn around and face your attacker. But you were pretty sure that the fact that you didn't hear them that Revenant is holding you at gun point. 

"Any last words, Skin bag?"

'yep, that's him' 

"Yeah i got a few actually" you replied. You took a deep breath.

"How's it going 'Rev'" you smiled like and idiot saying that.

The next thing you knew you heard a loud ringing as your vision went black.
