Taehyung

Andong Village

"Taehyung." She mumbled my name, slowly opening her eyes. I moved closer, looking down at her if she was fine.

"Areum." I called her but she closed her eyes, slowly drifting to sleep.

The light of the moon directly fell on her face, making it glow in the dark room. I couldn't do anything but admire her face. As I looked up to her hair, a strand of her hair was black.

Watching her sleeping, I felt tired too. I wanted some rest. I looked around and found a mat. Taking the mat and laying it down to the floor, I lastly glanced at her and she was finally sleeping peacefully. Checking her once, I finally laid my body down on the mat, falling to sleep.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Areum

I was sleeping when I heard some birds chirping near the window, sounding continually. I moved to the side and the sunrays directly fell on my face hurting my eyes. I groaned and slowly opened my eyes, rubbing it gently.

As I opened, I saw the sheets on me, medicines around and a few bowls filled with water. I looked around more and realised I was in a room.

It's a house. Where am I?

I quickly got up to close the window but I heard someone snoring, sleeping on the floor.

Taehyung.

He was sleeping on the floor, on the mat using his right arm as a pillow. I got up, but my body felt weak. I did manage myself, to stand on the floor and my bare feet touched the warmth of the floor. Flinching a bit, I stepped down, walking to him and heard him snoring. He was sleeping,

But I saw something on his right wrist, which looked similar. I blinked twice and came near to his hand to see it clearly. Yes, it was exactly the same as mine.

How.

"What are you doing?"

I heard him as I realised I was too close to him, looking down to his wrist. He was awake and peeking into my eyes. Some strands of my hair touched his face, as he shook his head to the side. I coughed a bit and moved away from him, standing still.

"Nothing." I mumbled and looked away. He got up and sighed, stretching his arms, as he looked around. Yawning, he got up fixing his clothes.

"What are you doing in my room?" I quickly asked him, as he looked at me growing his brows up. He looked as if he was trying to remember something.

Gazing at me for a few, he ignored my question and was about to walk out of the room.

Turning around, I watched his walking figure, and stopped him holding his hand. He faced me, looking down where I was holding him.

"You're not cold." He mumbled, and I looked at him confused. Surely, I don't know what happened to me. All I knew was I was in the forest and I passed out there while Ari was there with me.

"What? Did anything happen last night?" Curiosity grew in my mind, as I looked in his eyes. The way he looked at me, made me realise that something must have happened.

"No." He simply answered and pulled his hand back, and I saw the blood on his hand.

"Taehyung, you're bleeding." I looked down at his hand, stopping his steps. He again turned around. That cold eyes, emotionless face speaks something that made me feel bad.

Please it's not because of me.

"It's because of you." He replied and walked out of the room. And I felt my mouth open as I tried to remember what I did.

Thinking all I could, I walked to my bed. I slapped my forehead, forcing my brain to rewind what happened with me. As I looked up, I saw a mirror in front of me. Walking to it, I saw my figure, my reflection, the wound. I looked at my right side and saw a strand of my hair was fully black coloured.

When did I color my hair?

"Tia." I heard Ari's voice. Peeking to the side, I saw her standing near the door.

"Don't call me by this name. I am Areum, for now." I warned.

"Sorry, I forgot." She scratched her forehead. "How are you feeling?" She asked as she touched my forehead checking the temperature. I nodded and smiled a bit.

"Much better." I answered. She smiled and gave me a cup which was probably the medicine. I took it from her hand and drank it in one sip, not knowing the taste of it.

Ew.

"I know it has a good taste." Ari chuckled, seeing my disgust face made by the medicine. I scrunched my nose and frowned my face after gulping it down from my neck, which was too hard for me.

It's so bad.

"It's worse." I frowned. "Where are we?" I asked, coughing.

"Andong village." She answered. I never heard this name. I nodded and she took the cup from my hand placing it on the table.

"Ari." I called her and she hummed. "What happened to me?" I asked her if she knew what I did last night. She looked at me, smiling like an idiot but not responding.

Cleaning the mess I made, she walked to me and sat beside me on the bed.

"You know you fainted in the forest?" She questioned and I nodded.

"Taehyung carried you all way in this village." She said, which made me blushed. I don't know why.

"How?" I asked.

"Of course, on his horse." She answered and I raised my brows even more.

Me and him on the same horse?

"All thanks to him. If he wouldn't be there for you, you must have not saved. The doctor said this. And at night, I was too tired so he told me to rest while he stayed with you. He was here all night, with you, looking at you."

Smiling at me, I blinked twice and thought for his sudden kindness. I really can't understand him. One time he is so nice to me and the second he is so rude. He is confusing, but atleast he helped me, he saved me. I should thank him at least.

"Where is he?"
