The following morning, Jisung hurriedly makes his way to the flower shop, a quaint building tucked away in a corner of Arcana's shopping district.
The exterior of the shop is painted baby pink, with white lettering that proudly declares the shop's name—Mystical Blooms & Blossoms.
He pushes open the door, the bell above it chiming cheerfully as he steps inside with a ding!.
Upon entry, Jisung's met with the pleasant aroma of freshly cut flowers and warm earth. The walls of the shop are aesthetically lined with shelves of various flowers, arranged in colorful bouquets.
Behind the pale, wooden counter, Jisung notices two people: a man and a woman, smiling at him in greeting.
He recognizes them as the shop's owners, Seungmin and Jisu (also called Lia), whose families have financially backed their idea to open a flower shop for the past two years.
From a blissful whim to a manifestation of a dream—that's Mystical Blooms & Blossom.
"Welcome to our shop!" Lia exclaims cheerfully, lips parting to reveal a large smile. "What can we do for you today?"
"Um, I'm looking for Bleeding Hearts?" Jisung says, more as a question than an answer. "Do you have any in stock?"
"Ah, we do!" Lia chimes, sending her boyfriend off to go fetch Jisung a few. "They've been really popular ever since Dr. Kwon Lee published her internet novel. So many people are getting cursed nowadays, so the flowers help with protecting them."
She looks pensive for a moment, before the smile returns to her face.
"Anyway, let me know if you need any help picking out a bouquet sometime. We have a wide selection of flowers, including some rare and exotic ones, so you're sure to find something that catches your eye."
Jisung thanks them and stalls time by browsing the shop, admiring the beauty of the lush foliage and vibrant blooms. He'd always wanted a plant, but the probability of him taking actual care of a plant...? Close to zero.
