It wasn't exactly hard for you to recognize him.
After all, blue hair wasn't common in all of Teyvat. There was the famous exorcist from Liyue and his childhood friend, a knight from Mondstat, and a few others... but not a lot.
And the fact that this blue haired male was tall and wore clothes from Inazuma definitely limited things.
Thoma, who was walking next to you, looked up to notice the man walking up to you and him, and dashed up to him. "Where were you, my lord? One second you were walking next to me, and the next second, gone! My lady was really worried about you."
"Haha, I'm sorry for making you and Ayaka worry. Speaking of Ayaka, however, I don't seem to see her anywhere. Where is she?" the man tilted his head after looking around the surroundings, trying to spot his sibling.
Good thing you were good at blending in to the crowd. But that couldn't last, could it?
"I asked lady Ayaka to go to where the stage is set up. I'm sure that she's there already waiting for us!"
The man raised his eyebrows, as if he was a little upset /surprised about that, and slowly replied, "Ah. But are you sure that Ayaka reached the stage safely? I hear it's far away from here."
Thoma, listening to his lord's comment, reassures the man, saying that Ayaka was smart enough to ask for help from the residents if she got lost.
You were slowly going back to your own world, and mentally having a mental breakdown. Anyone would, in this situation.
Then, while pointing at you, he said, "my lord, this is f/n! She helped me come here and meet up with you," making you snap out of your dreamland of worries quickly.
The man elegantly walked over to you, and held up his hand for you to shake on.
"Ayato, head of the Kamisato clan of Inazuma. Delighted to make your acquaintance, miss f/n. Thank you for guiding Thoma here."
Don't be nervous, don't be nervous, it's fine, it'll be fine, I can leave right after this, calm down, don't make it seem suspicious....
"The honor is mine. No need for appreciation, I just did what any person would do to help a traveler out." you replied, reaching up and shaking his hand, hoping that Ayato would be unaware of your nervousness.
Awkward silence. It might have been less than a second, but Thoma was fortunately sharp enough to be able to read the room and start a new conversation.
"Ah, f/n, don't you need to go and keep on looking for someone?" Thoma chirped in, fillinf the silence.
Ah, I love people who can fill in awkard silences!!! This might help me get away!
Giving Thoma a grateful look, you answered, "Ah, yes. Thanks for reminding me! I need to look for a girl named Lupheri. I'll be going now. I hope you enjoy your stay in Sumeru!"
It was time to get away, and focus on something else. Hopefully something less difficult.
You said a hurried goodbye to Ayato and Thoma, and turned to leave and walked briskly to blend into the crowd nearby, but Ayato calmly "commanded" to you, making you stop in your tracks.
"Wait."
"If it isn't too much trouble for you, would you kindly help us go to the area where the Interdarshan competition are held? It would mean the world to us if you accept." Ayato suggested, with a knowing look, indicating that he knew you had no reason to object. After all, it's be easier to look for Lupheri while walking to different places.
".......fine, alright. I'll help you. Follow me, if you will." Trying your best to look indifferent, you motioned for the two men to follow you.
