POV: 3rd Person Narrator. The next day on the field.

"The winds had died down shortly after student Jolene Murray collapsed. Not before killing the Principal of Westchester Boarding Academy for the Gifted in what police are considering self defense after he shot her with a military grade machine gun as well as another student here who was the murderer in the recent revenge-homicide case at the academy. Both were rushed to a local hospital and were put into surgery moments later. Unfortunately Sean Colon, the first victim, still hasn't woken up. Jolene is stated to make a full recovery. All our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of all involved. More on this story as it develops" the reporter for the MSNBC spoke to the world.

It was done. The principal was dead. The strike settled. Justice served and Jolene safe.

All that was left was Spot. He suffered a blow to the kidney, and 3 shots to the heart and lungs. Ice and Daphne wait anxiously for the update on Spot's 5 hour surgery. He's on a ventilator and looks like a vegetable.

Jolene is woozy from the meds but all she has said is mumbles about Spot and "the crown"

"Are you the friends of Sean Conlon?" A nurse addressing the two
"Yes! How is he?" they asked nervously
"He was conscious but under too much pain so I put him in a medically induced coma. His kidney already had severe scar tissue on it, my guess previous surgery or abuse wounds. Which made it impossible to save the kidney"
"Does he need a transplant?" Ice worried
"No, his other kidney is fully functional but he has to be more careful of his diet as to not over load his kidney. His cuts are flesh wounds and should heal without major scaring"
"How's his heart doc" Daphne asked
"It's making a slow recovery but we won't know for sure until he heals more so we can do a full EKG. You can visit him but we won't wake him up for a few days to make sure he doesn't scream in pain"
"Ok thank you doc" Daphne put a reinsuring hand on his back.
"See, I told you he's fine" Daphne sat escorted him to Spot's room.

Daphne rushed to Jolene's room and told her the news. By then the initial daze had worn off so she could fully take in the fact that spot was alive.
"Daph wait" Jolene said looking out the window.
"Can I tell you something and you cannot say this to anyone not Spot, not Ice, no one"
"Of course Jo. Anything"
"It felt good"
"What did?"
"Wrapping my hands around his neck and feeling his pulse die out. It was like all the pressure had been lifted off me. I was free"

Daphne inched away horrified "You killed somebody"
"And I'd do it again"
Silence

"So what does this mean now. Are you a villain?"
"If a villain gets justice then yes"
"Jo. If you turn full villain and I go full hero, I won't fight you"
"Same here Daph"
They shared and awkward chuckle as Daphne left the room. She didn't know what to do with that information. All she knew is she had to tell someone.

"And she said she enjoyed it and... I don't know what to do" Spot still lay there. Practically lifeless.
Daphne went on, ranting to him about what her best friend had confided to her. It felt wrong to rat her out but what could she do?

"I'm not a monster for wanting to fight for the greater good you know" Jolene stumbled into the room holding onto a portable IV carrier.

"I-I-I" Daphne started to stammer. She would never admit it, but in that moment she almost feared for her life.

"I want to serve the greater good. I want justice for those who go through what I did and worse. Sometimes the only way justice can be given is by going above the justice system. The system is created to save every life, good or bad. But equality is an eye for an eye. Murder for murder. Do you understand?" She tried justifying her point. "I'm not a monster" she thought. Whether true or not, she didn't care.
