Night charlottie
Damn, Charlotte knew she had no right to be upset about Gracie hanging out with other people but she couldn't help it. It was the type of jealousy you felt at someone else's birthday party when they were opening gifts. The type of anger you felt when you just achieved something but someone else just achieved something greater.
Charlotte knew she wouldn't be able to sleep so instead of staring up at the glow in the dark stars Gracie had helped to stick on the ceiling when she had just moved in, she decided to do what any sane person would do. She was going to bake a cake.
Fuck
There had to be butter somewhere in the apartment, Charlotte just didn't know where that somewhere was. As Charlotte slipped on her shoes, she grabbed her wallet and looked inside. She knew she had to be careful about her spendings, she didn't have the financial support that most sixteen year olds had but she was decently responsible with her money. She always tried to pay rent on time, always took an extra shift at her job, always tried to tip nicely when out eating, always had a little bit of emergency money, so what's a few bucks on butter gonna do to her bank account? A lot. But that didn't matter to Charlotte, she wanted to bake a cake and she was going to do just that.

idk if i should make the chapters longer or keep them as a lot of short ones
