CHARLOTTE was first to speak up after the short but heated moment.

"Before you say anything, your not allowed to apologize because damn, I enjoyed it"

"Me too, we should do that more often"

Charlotte giggled, happy to hear that the feeling was mutual, before she went in for a small peck on the lips. This time, Gracie didn't pull away like she did months before. Instead, she melted into the feeling and pouted slightly when she felt nothing but coldness when Charlotte pulled away.

"... so what are we now?"

"I don't know actually"
"we can be whatever, I don't know"

"okay well, we should take things slow"

"Yeah after all the trauma you put me through"

"hey I said I was sorry"
"how about talking but exclusive"
"just you and me"

"Okay, exclusively talking but sometimes we make out"
"Sounds good"

Gracie smiled as she wrapped her arm around charlotte's waist snuggling into her warmth. The two laid there for what felt like hours before Gracie shot up, startling the almost asleep Charlotte.

"What the fuck?"

"Oops sorry, I was just thinking and"
"Why were you at the hospital"
"I never texted you"

Charlotte sat up slowly rubbing her eyes and trying to think how she should phrase that her entire family was basically dead and she had absolutely nothing left.

"Well..."
"Uh you want to attend a funeral with me?"

Gracie sat there looking at Charlotte smiling before she realized the girl was serious.

"What? Who? When? How?"

"Funny story actually"
"Apparently I have a half sister"

"You what?"

"yeah and Mark and his wife—"

"He has a wife?"

"Yep it's crazy"
"So they both died and so now I actually own a house"

"He left you the house?"

"Nope but I'm the only one written so I apparently get it"
"Probably not gonna keep that shithole though, maybe sell it or whatever"

Gracie sat there staring at Charlotte with an open mouth. How the fuck was this girl so calm about all this stuff?

"Uh I'm so sorry char"

"Cut the bs Cie"
"You can smile, be happy, party, I really don't care"
"He was dead to me long time ago"

No response was given besides a small head nod. The brunette could tell that Charlotte was slightly hurting so instead of commenting, she wrapped her arms around the girl and just let her relax into the touch.

"I'm glad I at least still have you"
