CHARLOTTE was quick to excuse herself, leaving Mark, the nurse and her sister?? in the room. She took a seat in the nearby waiting room trying to do some math. If her sister?? was around four, that means that Mark technically didnt cheat on her mom but still. What the fuck? Charlotte felt betrayed. She didnt even know the little girl, she didnt know her name, she didnt know her age, she didnt know who her mother was, she didnt know her. She didnt know who the fuck she was so how could she be called her sister, well half-sister. Charlotte eyes felt heavy as she felt the urge to cry when she realized that while living under Mark's house, Mark had gone out with someone else and had a child? Is that who Abigail Harrington was? So Mark literally had another child and Charlotte was completely blind to this? He literally married someone else while charlotte had no idea?
THE glass window of the waiting room that charlotte was sat in allowed the bright sun light to shine in, waking a tear stained, puffy eyed charlotte. This isn't how charlotte imagined waking up. She had been overjoyed that her wrist had healed naturally with little complications cause that meant not having to go to the doctors but here she was, at the hospital with family she barely knew.
"Charlotte?"
"Mhm?"
"Huh, Katie?"
"You're here, I didnt know you were already here"
"Gracie just got out of surgery"
"Gracie? Surgery?"
"Don't worry, it went really well"
"She's resting in 208 right now"
"Oh okay, room 208 right?"
"Yeah its just around to the left"
"Gracies gonna be so excited to see you"
"You haven't been around much"
"Ha yeah just been busy with work"
"Is anyone else here?"
"Nope, she's only allowed one visitor right now"
"The boys are going to visit tomorrow"
"Oh then do you want to go in?"
"I can just see her after you"
"Don't worry hun, i already saw her"
"i have to go home to get some extra stuff"
"Plus if she contacted you before that means she wants you there so don't sweat it"
"Yeah, yeah.."
"Ill stay with Gracie while you head home"
"Drive safe, i'll see you in a bit"
"Thanks Lottie, i'll be back soon"
