Chapter 13: The Rider, the Witch, and the Symbiote (part 1)

(AUTHOR'S NOTE) Remember, this story has also been tagged as a Marvel/Marvel comics story. This is MOSTLY a Ghost Rider and VivziePop crossover story, but Ghost Rider IS still part of Marvel, as is others like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, etc. So, any Marvel characters I may place in my current or future story, or any Marvel characters I base my OCs/FCs off from, belong to the Marvel comic book publisher, and their creators. Hearing V8 engines roaring towards them in the distance, the Rider, Loona, and Rachael were all standing defensively, while Charlie and Octavia were back in the '15 Challenger SRT. Since they were still in their Halloween costumes, they had to change out of them, and back in their normal clothes. Charlie was able to bring their clothes inside the cockpit with her demonic magic, while they changed in privacy.

Loona: Better hurry up in there! They're getting closer!

Quickly stepping out of the Challenger SRT, both demonesses were now back outside, and stood next to their friends, ready to face their opponents. After they were all together, Rachael heard the same voice in her head again.

???: Tell them the truth, kid. If we're gonna fight, they need to know first. Otherwise, they'll ask questions later.

Rachael sighed and nodded, and turned to everyone. This was the moment that will shock them.

Rachael: Guys, I have something important to tell you.

Loona: Can't we talk about this later?

Rachael: I... I have a symbiote inside me, all this time!

The Rider and the girls looked at her with confused faces. What was Rachael talking about?

Ghost Rider: A what?

Seeing them stare at her like that, Rachael nervously began to talk about what happened on a school field trip 4 months ago.

(Life Foundation research facility, San Francisco, CA, 4 months ago)

4 months ago, in a San Francisco research facility built on a cliffside, a high school tour had just begun, with some of the students from Fontana High participating on this field trip. Their teacher, Ms. Harrison, was leading her students to follow the Life Foundation tour guide. As they all rounded a corner, CJ, Carter, and Rachael were part of the field trip back then.

L.F. guide: Now, if you all follow me this way, what I'm about to show you is a couple of machinery, that allows...

While the guide was providing some facts about the many gadgets and machinery he was allowed to show, CJ and Carter were carefully taking notes, but Rachael was growing uninterested and bored of this trip. She quietly gave a bored groan.

Rachael: *groan* I'm soooo bored.

Both CJ and Carter heard her, and the latter tried to perk her up with some fun suggestions.

Carter: Well... try looking around some rooms, take some pictures, or write down some notes regarding some scientific...

Rachael: (hushed whispering) Ok, I'm not that bored! *scoffs*

As they continued on with the group, Rachael looked around the spacious building, when she saw the Life Foundation's leader, Dr. Carlton Drake, walking with one of the scientist, Dr. Dora Skirth, who seemed a little troubled, as they were having a secret conversation. Rachael was suddenly having a feeling the this facility was hiding something top secret from the public. She has heard on the news that the widely-acclaimed detective reporter, Eddie Brock, from the Eddie Brock show, had gotten fired from his career, because he interviewed Dr. Drake, and asked some unnecessary questions, and got him kicked out.

Rachael: (thinking) What are those people up to?
