Appetence; an eager desire,, an attraction or natural bond.

Kenma captured your eyes the whole game. You were unable to look away for all of the sets, eyes glued to the way his hair bounced and fell over his shoulders, the way he'd grimace when a mistake was made, his annoyed expression when his captain got a little too excited- you guessed he was the previously mentioned extrovert best friend.

Kenma was the only thing you looked at the entire time. If anyone asked you how the game was you'd have no answer, but if anyone asked you how Ken played you wouldn't be able to shut up.

You inhaled through your teeth, avoiding eye contact when you handed Bokuto and Akaashi their waters, getting bombarded with questions on how you thought they did. You were supposed to be here to watch them in action for the first time with their new positions and you could barely answer, spitting out a quick "you were great!" and walking over to the other team, watching silently until you could break Kenma free.

When the team dispersed to go congratulate the other, you walked up to Kenma, grinning widely.

"You were fucking amazing! Why didn't you tell me you were a setter?"

He just shrugged, fiddling with his fingers in embarrassment. "Lots of reasons."

Humming, you grabbed his hand softly, making him look up at you with flushed cheeks.

"You know I couldn't keep my eyes off you. I don't even know what happened during the match."

"Yeah, I know. I couldn't focus, you were staring at me like you were trying to stop my heart." He growled, glaring at you, which was much less intimidating when he was looking up at you from under his lashes with red cheeks and ears.

"Maybe I was. With my loooove~" You cheesed, getting closer with a disturbing kissy face. Pushing your face away, Kenma scoffed with an eye roll (although his smile betrayed him). You were a little cute sometimes.

"You're taking this better than I thought," Kenma started, glancing behind him to make sure you were following as he walked towards the locker room to change. "Figured you'd be upside down in a river now."

"Oh no, I'll definitely scream some more later."

"Some more?"

"Mmmh, I panicked for a good amount of time. I was spaced out when I first saw you and everyone was staring at me. 'Kaashi snapped at me like I was a dog. Embarrassing." You flushed, whining at the memory.

" 'Kaashi?"

"Akaashi, my cousin."

Kenma hummed, sighing and pushing his hands on his face. "That was super embarrassing earlier. You should've acted normal."

"What about you. That kind of behavior is expected of me but you're supposed to be like "IDGAF.""

"I can't be like IDGAF when my soulmate is weirdly in front of me. Stalker."

"Maybe you're the stalker."

"I'm at my own school."

You just shrugged, leaning on the wall next to the locker room door. "So..."

"Soo...."

"Do you think I could— go to your house?" You implored, tilting your head.

"My house?"

"Yeah, your house."

"My house?"

"...Maybe not then?"

Kenma bloomed in red, making you grin, crossing your arms over your chest. "Pervert."

"Shut up! You're the pervert!" He squeaked, stepping into the locker room and slamming the door in your face.

"So- should I wait or go with the team?" Nervously looking around until the door cracked open, making you lean over to look in.

"Wait for me." Ken replied timidly with his head down, shutting the door right after.

Giggling at his cute behavior, you skipped over to the doors, sitting next to them and waiting, dragging your phone out to text Akaashi.

Naturally, your phone was flooded with questions about Kenma, and you're sure it was the same for the other in the locker room now, but you were way too ecstatic to care, humming a tune and taking a selfie, posting it on your (social) with a "HSHHSJSHSHS" as the caption.
