Sanctuary of Surasthana, Sumeru City, Sumeru
"I think I'll keep it this way," You say as you run your hair through your fingers, "Maybe someone is looking for me and they remember me having long white hair."
Alhaitham walks over the door, beckoning Kaveh to follow. The architect shrugs and follows him out but not before saying goodbye to you.
Kaveh waves before saying, "See you soon… Uhm…"
He gives you a questioning look, waiting for you to say something. When you don't, Alhaitham sighs and turns to his housemate.
"Kaveh, you know that they don't have any recollection of memories, right?"
"Oh… But still I think we should address them properly," Kaveh replies, his cheeks turning red.
His red eyes catch your gaze and he blush even deeper before looking away. On your side, Nahida looks at him then at you before looking away. An uncomfortable silence follows, which Alhaitham ends by scoffing and walking away. Kaveh looks over to his housemate's retreating back and sighs.
"I'll try to drop by again tomorrow but I have too much work to catch up on," the blonde man shakes his head, "And if ever you remember your name, I hope you tell me right away."
You nod and smile at him, which makes him blush even more. He gives you a small shy smile before following Alhaitham out of the Sanctuary. Nahida doesn't stay for long, she seems to be taking care of a lot of things as well. If only you can help them in someway. You sink slowly on your bed, wrapping yourself on the soft, brown blanket from Alhaitham. You don't tell them about it but you seem to not fall asleep no matter what you do. As if your body has decided it has enough sleep already. So you lie awake for hours, hearing Nahida and another person's footsteps around the Sanctuary. You can hear them quietly argue most of the time but out of respect for the Archon, you decide that you shouldn't listen to her conversations with someone named "Scaramouche".

A week has passed since you first opened your eyes again. Ever since the night where you discussed with Kaveh if you should cut your hair, he hasn't returned and it worries you. Alhaitham still drops by from time to time though he doesn't stay very long. You have learned that he is currently the Acting Grand Sage, the highest position in the Akademiya. The guilt in your heart grows, these people live really busy lives but they still accommodate you, with Nahida and Cyno helping you learn basic motor skills and Alhaitham teaching you how to read and write.
"You are progressing very fast," Alhaitham says as he gives you another piece of paper, "Are you sure you're resting your hand? You can sprain your wrist if you don't take care."
You look at the space underneath your bed where you keep your worksheets. Since your body doesn't seem to rest, you have been practicing even after he or Nahida has left. Alhaitham notices your actions and he frowns at you.
"Care to explain?"
Your voice is small when you respond, "I've been practicing a lot."
"Hmm? How much is a lot for you? Nonstop?"
"Not nonstop but… too much, I guess."
