Chapter 2

Lilith's p o v :

I wake up and check the time then cover my mouth and curse. "I'm fucking late for college. That Minerva won't let me live peacefully, we have a important 2 hour lecture today. Fuck yourself, Lilith.  How could you forget" I rant contineously and grab the first set of clothes I find and wear them. Grab my bag and rush to the door

"Fuck!" I shout and head back grabbing my father's scooter keys and get to college as soon as possible.

I prepare myself mentally and physically just in case who knows what that mad woman will do to me. I head inside the classroom and I don't see any teacher.  I only see students, students and students.

Wtf. Where's Mrs. Minerva. I spotted Mia, my best friend and go sit beside her. 

"What happened? Where's the mad woman?" I whisper yell at Mia.

"She got a call and started acting weird and freaky and said that the class is delayed for 15 minutes" she says.

"Its been around an hour, she didn't return yet." She adds.

"Well, whatever. I don't really care I'm glad I escaped that woman's scoldings today."

but I can't help but care what could've happened? I hope everything's fine and she continues the class. "What happened to your left cheek?" Mia gasps. And I'm suddenly reminded of the horror that happened yesterday.  But before I can think of anything.

"LILITH JONES" I startle and get up to see Mrs. Minerva at the door she looks angry?

"Yes, mam?"

"Come with me to the library" library? Why? My thoughts were paused when she added "We need to gather books for the class. The rest of the class will remain silent and go through the lesson. The 2 hour lecture will be kept next Friday." she completes.

And I follow her to the library. But the thing is we're not going to the library we're going the opposite way. "Ma'am, the library's that way." She looks annoyed.

"Yeah, I didn't know." Come on, now is not the time to be sarcastic.

We stop in front of principal Henry's office.  I am freaking out. Am I getting expelled? Did I do something wrong? We enter the office. I see principal Henry and another figure.

Who's that? "Explain yourself, Ms. Lilith." Principal Henry says quietly. I stand there not uttering a single word confused. 

"I'm sorry, sir. but I don't understand anything. Explain what, sir? Did I do something wrong?" I have zero idea what's going on who's that guy? What am I to explain?

"Explain who this is." he says pointing to the figure facing out the window.

"Why is he here asking for you, Ms. Lilith?" he questions.  But I don't know who that guy is where he is from, I know nothing.

"Sir, I don't know who that is. Can you at least tell him to turn?" I ask but even after Principal Henry asking he doesn't move an inch instead he asks

"Your mother didn't tell you about me?" his raspy voice sending shivers down my spine. "No" I whisper. He turns and my breath is stuck inside my lungs.  My hands start shaking.

No no no no no NO this can't be happening.
