Chapter 24

"oh wait! I left my phone in the room." I said to Elliot.

"I'll bring it, stay here." he goes inside. I stand for a total of 5 minutes and go inside too, and talk to Mia while waiting. The bell rings and Cedric opens the door, revealing Samuel. Just as he entered, Elliot came beside me, handing me my phone.

Sam freezes and stares, wide-eyed at Elliot, while he just looks back, coldly. I go up to Sam. "what's wrong, Sam?" he staggers back when I touch his shoulder. "what the hell are you doing with him?" Sam asked, his voice cracked and he looked like he was gonna cry.

"umm thats a long story and how we know each other is not important. Are you okay?" I asked, genuinely worried about him. "lets leave, Lilith." Elliot's voice sharp, and cold. Before I could reply to him, Sam grabs my arm harshly and pulls me towards him.

"why the fuck would she go with you?" Sam's tone surprising me, he sounded so angry. "none of your business." Elliot stated. "it is my business, cuz she's my girlfriend!!" Samuel yelled.

"STOP! Both of you! What the hell are you two to each other?!" I interrupted and pulled my arm back from Samuel's harsh hold, I'm pretty sure my arm was red, but that wasn't my main concern. Samuel pulled me towards him again, his hold tighter than the last time.

"how the fuck do you know him!?" he argued, his jaw clenched, his face shaking from pure anger. I tried pulling my arm back cause I was already hurt because of Kartha and I didn't want any additional bruises, especially from Samuel but it was of no use, he kept tightening his grip.

"are you cheating on me?!" my eyes widened, shocked that Samuel dared ask that question to me. I was boiling from anger within but panic creeped up way faster. "please, let me go, you're hurting me." I tried telling him but it was of no avail. He kept on repeating the question.

My breathes were becoming shallow, I started full on panicking. I struggled to breathe, my lungs giving out on me but I didn't give up, I raised my other hand and slapped Samuel hard across his face and he loosened his grip, finally letting go and realized just what he was doing to me.

Elliot pulled me towards him, wrapping his arms around me and I gave in, I sobbed, so hard. Ugly cries coming out one after another, Elliot kept his arms around me while I layed my head on his chest crying. I looked up at him. "get me away from this place, please." I pleaded and without wasting a second he lifted me and took me to his car.

He made me sit in the passenger seat and fastened the seatbelt. He came up to the driver's seat and got out of here. After a while, I turned my head to look at him. "we're brothers." he answered the question in my head.

I gaped at him and asked again to be sure. "you and Samuel are brothers?" he nodded, his eyes focused on the road. "so like so- that means- Samuel Richard and Elliot Richard? Wtf-" he nodded again and said in such a low voice that I wouldn't have heard him if I wasn't paying much attention.

"Elliot Vincent Richard."

Elliot's p o v :

I never expected that I would see Sammy, but then thats what I get for coming here knowing he lives near. I was tearing apart from inside, the urge to just go and hug him and have everything solved was clouding my brain but I couldn't. I need to finish something important before I can guarantee their safety.

I can keep Lilith safe, cuz she's just one person, but then I can't bring mama, dad and Sammy home. I would have never thought that my brother is Lilith's boyfriend. I sigh when I see Lilith sleeping peacefully in the passenger seat, I stopped the car and turned towards her and just stare at her red and puffy face.

She felt so small and vulnerable in my arms when I brought her to my car. I don't know why but I just froze when Sam was holding her harshly, I should've went and pulled her away from him, he was hurting her but I just froze like an idiot.

I start driving again and we reach my condo in 10 minutes.
