The next day, Blizzard, Spruce and Glacier went out for a hunt. As the walked through the forest, they came across a elk carcase, which was only a few days old with plenty of meat on it.
As the wolves started to eat, a lynx came walking over towards them and was trying to steal some of the meat. Glacier and his son's growled at the lynx, keeping it away. It then trotted around the wolves and still tried to get some of this meat.
Spruce turned around and jumped into the lynx, attacking it as the the lynx struggled against him. Blizzard went over and helped Spruce fight the lynx while Glacier stood over the elk carcase to make sure other animals didn't take it.
Soon, the wolf brothers killed the lynx and went back to eating with Glacier. After thy finished eating, the wolves stuffed their mouths full of the elk meat and started to drag the carcase back home to their den.
